Ok. We all want to have better game. Good you all remeber me that hero attack skill is reduced too. Ive  losesd this important thing. Now I see that anc behemoth is groovuing unit . Biggest oponent heroes skill has better dmges. But if hero is low skilled and unit low lvl anc behemoth skill works weak. So its rather big creatures crusher than lowest. Keep it in mind if you have battle to attack high lvl units.

Yes, Ancient Benehomth is actually unlike onther Level / creatures, relatively weakers vs Low Level creatures since defense reduction doesn't work very much against them (They rely more on HP than defense)

High level creatures rely on DEF and not HP of stack, so Benehoth should attack them. 60% reduction is pretty strong.

However I would say except against level 6-7 ancient Benhemoth is subpar. OP trying to correct that.

Hydras have low attack soi they are useless against other LVL7, can't break their defense - this seems opposite.
Still, Hydras are potentially strong against clups of low level units, but lack mobility and rely too much on positioning and setup. Easy to counter. Additional disadvantage: Enemy low level units will usually be on defensive positions at the other side of the map.

Up to a same point - same with behemoth: Can be countered by positiuoning. They have low HP. No magic resistance. Weak to spells. Enemy level 7 units can just fly away from the behemoth and hide behind other units and obstacles. So in real life "wins in 1v1" doesn't mean that much. Only AI is that stupid and not even it.

At the end of the day, both Behemoths and Hydras are slow, niche units.

Thus I don't see bad some stats changes considering their towns are not competitive. But other units need more buffing IMO (Wyverns could be more expensive but their poison triggers 100%, lizardmen/gnolls, Stronghold Orcs, Fortress Mage Guild, Gliphs of Fear and Blood Obelisk, etc.)

I don't exactly understand why Behemoths would need any kind of buff. Their ability ensures that they're always doing damage, even if opponent would have high amounts of defence.

So, they're easy to build, cheap to buy, and always capable of dealing damage. In other words, they're very consistant and accessiable - in line with the Stronghold faction in general.

As neutral enemies, they aren't as terrifying as some other creatures, but still hurt a lot if they are capable of going melee.
Despite them being slow, I don't see there really being a reason to buff them.

Remember HoMM3 world champion Maretti, he's also HC member. He uses Crag Hack and A. Behemoths to beat opponent.

Stronghold needs buff.
Goblins are useles.
Wolf riders ok.
Orcs weak shooter.
Ogre ok.
Bird to small power to fly inside walls you lost it fast.
Cyclops too big dwelling price... You cant buy it.
Behemots ok.
...
In fact too much weak units. Ofcourse that mustnt be behemot.
But goblin first. Cyclop dwelling price down and maybe orcs.
Behemoth maybe. Ancient not necessery.
I think generally that 7lvl dont need buffing is overpowered. 1-6 lvl should be boosted.

Wolf Raiders rock tho, if you get them on day 2 and create a powerstack. (Hob)Goblins as well to back up the Wolf Raiders. The Rocs can be bought on day 3 and serve as a distraction for the other units to do their jobm, including the Behemoths on day 4. This is at least what I've noticed and how I'm playing, since it's pretty efficient. You also need to use Goblin stacks of 1. Orcs are literally meatshield. Ogres are ok, and Ogre Magi are quite nice. Cyclops are gotten only later, but they're good, and very good if you have a Picket, which can be taken with day 3/4 or even earlier army, if you're lucky.
