Marksman - Anim test 1

Here is the shooting animation. Rewrite was not possible, so i made manualy animation for shoting and reloading, only pose is used from the old animation. Should i uploud it for you to test it? So we know if it works just fine?

Try this, just if it works. Directly exported from blender.

Crossbowman - Anim shot

Its newer version of .fbx, i recommend converting it to 2009 format with autodesk converter or if you dont have it, i can upload it in fbx 2009.

Guys you two should start working together. This is pure magic to watch. I love the models, animations and textures from HOMM6 (far better than heroes7 even).

Here is some of my recent work on Juggernauth and Pit lord. Haven and Dungeon factions are already finished, Inferno is next. However im doing it alone, so it takes time.

Congratulations no your work Kierby. Even when working together we are one way or another working alone and for ourselves. As long we are organized towards making the game better by improving quality, adding new content and enriching game play there is no way to go wrong.

Well thank you. The most annoying thing on Heroes 5 modding is that there will be always room for  such stupid errors, which sloooow down the modding so much....Yesterday i spent 5 hours working out one stupid problem with animation....its just so demoralizing.
I hope that it will be worth it.

Now i face few smaller problems. I need someone who actualy know, how to handle visual effects (like fire, etc.), because i dont. Even though I was using some tutorial here. Its not actually possible for me to make visual and sound effects along with animations and rig tweaking at the same time for 42 units (which is only 2 factions btw.), and the time is running short. One H6 unit port takes about one week to complete. So someone who understand Heroes 5 visual effects (glue bone, particles, etc.) is very much needed.

Not sure if I have mentioned before but there may be some information that can be helpful to you over here [url=https://heroes5.fandom.com/wiki/Heroes_5_Wiki].

This one is related to animation.

I think it is a nice place to start uploading all the know-how we have on modding so everybody can benefit.

I would also suggest asking on the Russian forums. Their knowledge on model editing is unprecedented.

Another good source of animation knowledge is Esto100nec youtube.

Well yes. 1 month exactly. The pit lord have still just model and texture work done, animations are not finished. Thats because i want to use custom animations and not just H5 pit lord. He miss some things in his kit, so i will be working on manual animations. Another thing is, that i could use motion capture for it, but i will se about that.

The effects are still problem, i dont get it, because my "gluetobone" doesnt actually work as intended and it takes so much time, that i could do 2 H6 units model rigg and animation translation along with sounds and 2k texture work instead.
