Did the Witches Win?
In the Book Malleus Maleficarum, or "The Hammer of the Witches" (yes, it is rejected by the church, but bear with me), the goals of the witches are stated, of which three are main: to end normal relationships between men and women (marriage) , abort babies (in the uterus) and kill babies (right after they are born).
For the first purpose they perform magic for the male genital member to fall off - here it does not matter if it materially occurs, but if it occurs phenomenologically. In fact, it happens, this is the castration of man (emasculation), there is no need to describe in detail how it happens in droves today (vasectomy is a more subtle example of this that sometimes goes unnoticed, it is self-castration). In addition, they use demons (succubus and incubus) to have sex with husbands and wives, respectively (the succubus would take the man's sperm and give it to an incubus that would impregnate a woman other than this man's wife).
In addition to the spiritual reality, there are the secondary causalities of this last process: all this evidently occurs with the culture of "open relationship", the rejection of monogamy and the portrait of marriage as a mechanism of oppression against women; the culture of women with children out of wedlock who will marry a man who will take care of that child; the cuckold culture; and even assisted reproduction with another man's sperm. Just as with the evil of pornography (the man uses his seeds for another woman).
Whereas in the last two objectives, we have already seen the legalization of abortion taking over. Even with recent proposals that the woman may choose to “abort” (murder) the baby right after delivery (it is called “AFTER-BIRTH ABORTION”).
So, did the witches win?

Unlike Corribus, you are not a scientist, so I take your opinions on matters like this with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, I think anyone interested in the philosophy of science should understand why and how scientific materialism became the regnant paradigm and why it fails to answer a lot of questions. It's a pretty massive stretch to put a SCIENTIST like Rupert Sheldrake (the controversity of his ideas notwithstanding, Sheldrake is a SCIENTIST) into the same thread that starts with a book that could also be titled "The Necronomicon" or "The cosmology of the Pink Unicorn".
That book is the antithesis of everything scientific - and that includes Robert Sheldrake. You could just as well ask whether Dwarves and Trolls have secret underground empires and make forays into human territory to abduct humans as an expanation for people going missing.

You see, this is where you’re wrong. Because I also happen to master the craft of communication with djinns. On each first thursday of the second month of every year that falls under the sign of Bahuanilema, a portal opens. 3- When you pee, never ever look in the mirror afterwards our the djinn will steal your masculanity.
4- Before going to sleep, put a cross on the ceiling with white chalk (yellow will also do but white is better), when you wake up, look at the cross with your tongue in your left cheek (right cheek wont do, it will in fact, anger the djinn), wink five times, touch your nose with your index finger.
Once these weaken the djinn, we can move on to removing him from your body completely. But it’s a delicate and painful process. Be prepared to fight for your soul.

That's where you are wrong, Sheldrake talks about shamans and how they can use their minds, which, in his framework, are fields that extend indefinitely, to communicate with animals. The link between the wall of text I posted and Sheldrake's ideas is the fact that
