Hi Bloodsucker,
Oh, I'm absolutely on the same page with you. It is more niche than other skills but far from being useless.
In this map it would be useless though since there are no siege fights at all.
It's a player against the map scenario. That's also why the Protection against ... spells, the Resistance skill, Magic Mirror etc. are useless here. There are no enemy heroes that could cast spells on your creatures (and no Efreet Sultans with their fire shield).

I think that on this map, out of the three: thant, alamar and jeddite, thant+necro is the strongest option and allows you to finish the map earlier than with a "normal" hero. but I don't think we need to ban him, let the players have a choice. or we can make his appearance dependent on the chosen difficulty level.

I hope you'll create more maps, because for a first project the effect is very satisfactory

Thanks for your opinion on the matter. I agree with you: I was also more inclined to leave the three of them in and give the player the choice if they want to use them or not. I'm going to leave their starting spell untouched and send the updated version later today to maps4heroes.

Thank you very much for your kind words! I am glad that you enjoyed your playing experience with the map.

In fact I have an idea for another map (again something similar to a player against the map scenario but this time with heroes, like in the Tomb Raiders map of the HotA campaign), something very story driven. So far I've done some testing in the editor and sketched the map, the story points and the concepts out on paper but now I have to find the time to bring it together and flesh it out in the editor. I hope to find it in the remaining months of this year or early 2025. I'll make sure to post in the forums once I have something close to finished.
