Poll Question:
Best level 7 H3C creatures
Hello!
This last thread and poll. We had talked about the best level 6, but Wyverns aren't so bad, when Poisonous is strong ability, thus stats can't be 100hp or 16 att and def, or it becomes Haspid. You can test in the WoG/ERA.. Won't work, only/except number from Dragon Fly Hives.. Now I've to show information due to Wyverns. At least Black and Dread Knights are the right choice. Ok
Other gaming forum said and voted the best level 7 is Phoenix in their one consensus. And then Reddit thought Archangels, Black Dragons and Phoenixes are most powerful troops in the game. So different opinions also passe HC thread has found without poll: Best Seventh Level Creature... vs present-day HC members mean your poll is the decisive, thus some is played still HoMM3 already 20 years, their experience work a lot. Remember think as a Wyvern. An example maybe Maretti says Behemoths. Ok forget.. Free!  And we're waiting for Factory, if you read all best creature thread, so you're brain.

If phoenixes are 4 per week, then of course them, otherwise angels.

Angels and Archangels for sure. Not only are they incredibly strong, they are also fliers. So on the battlefield they can do basically anything from blocking archers to attacking to defending your own units. Resurrection is also hugely useful in tactical situations, especially once you start having 6+ Archangels and they no longer suffer attrition in most fights. Their high speed means you can stick one on a hero and ride around the map at high speed. And if all that wasn't good enough, their +1 Morale means you can stick them in any army without worrying about composition. Even undead. They are the only unit in the game (besides Azure dragons) which make any army better.
If that wasn't enough, they are also one of the easiest units to mass in the game because of Griffon thingies (name escapes me). So even if phoenixes outnumber them on paper, everyone every game has a couple angels and if they find a fort or castle they have archangels, whereas you're not getting enough phoenixes every game, and you're losing what ones you can get to attrition.

Yes, Angels, there is no doubt. There are other good T7 cratures but Resurrection on top of amazing stats beats everything.

If I have Armageddon to play Black dragons can match. Kill everything then a strong second will all army finish it off

You don't necessarily need black dragons for that and you also don't need Armageddon. There are (too) many ways to employ a bolt-and-retreat-tactic.
Black dragons are good, but AAs enable you to take tough fights early without any losses.

While they are one of the weakes in raw power, I wanna say Archdevils are one of the most potent units for snowballing.
If you manage to get one fast you can beat any slow stack on the map with just an archdevil, hence reach key areas much faster.
The problem is this needs a resource rich map to begin with but in some cases i'd vote them top dog.
Generally AA are the best except for cheese strategies.

Attack and damage kill HP, you should know, Phoenix4ever.. My original Magician, Warrior and Master (RoE), for example I changed number in the SoD, WoG, and HotA, thus 3k Archangels killed 7k Arch Devils in only one strike.. Fooled Pandora's Box vs hidden event bonus (3k Archangels).. Later on Tan for 3k Archangels.. But not story now.. Ok attack and damage are the vital.. RoE said if higher attack than defense mean 400% damage, but majority said 200%, I didn't get a material, manual, fact, etc Ok your best to test 1 Titan vs Abandoned Mine where are 100-249 of Troglodytes, so you see Titan does over 100 damage. Remember you don't need to cast a Slow.. Without a spell! You can think their (Phoenixes) 18 defense, and Archangel has 30 attack.. My Elite explained that the meaning of CONFLUX is confluence. Yes river, etc but a gathering together, esp of people. Finnish paljous mean multitude in English.. So extra number, and later on leaded to H4 where are different rich growth.. Not Phoenix is so poor, when Armageddon, breath attack and rebirth, and bone and ghost dragons are worst being. I don't think some understand.. Math!

If you put 4 Phoenixes against 2 Archangels, (or 40 Phoenixes VS 20 Archangels) Phoenixes will attack first, they will also rebirth if destroyed.
Of course if you can hit 2 units with breath weapon, Phoenixes are even better and they are the fastest unit immune to Arma + immunity to Blind, Berserk, Curse etc.
Archangels might have more attack and defense than Phoenixes, but damage spells does'nt care about attack and defense, they only care about HP and here 4 Phoenixes have 800, while 2 Archangels only have 500.
Why do you think HotA had to nerf Phoenix growth from 4 to 3?

Maybe aped WoG 3.58f, today WoG/ERA has 4 Phoenixes, and then you choose a script gives 3 Phoenixes.. Shame HotA.. In the H4, extra rich growth: 2 Angels or 4 Champions, for example.. Champions have First Strike.. But Angels have higher defense 34.. And Champions have 25 attack, and 24-36 damage.. You can test it.. But so you see little difference is enough well.. Doesn't help! In the H3, 30 def vs 21 att and 30-40 damage, when higher defense causes -30% lesser damage.. And I'm not nerfing and buffing friend rather a new object, spell, creature, improvement AI and graphics also bug fixes..

That's why my favorite WoG creature is Darkness Dragons but if I get some I'll soon turn them in to SAAs...

It is actually probably just Archangels even magically, because you can just clone them and use the clone to resurrect much stronger than any hero. And then the clone remains and wastes opponents time in killing it. That in itself is rather OP.
So yes, Archangels are the best and you also get more angels from map...
But I will vote titans because they won't get enough vote for being the only ranged, mind immunity, etc. and you can also clone and shoot which is arguably, err, somewhat good.
Unupgraded giants kind of blow, though.
