Awesome hero portraits by LiquidValor
I accidently bumped into some of LiquidValors videos on YouTube.
He is remastering Heroes 3 hero portraits and imo they look really good.
Seems like he has remastered 9 classes until now, over the last 2 months.
I don't know much about LiquidValor, how he has done it or if it's possible to download these remastered portraits, I certainly hope so.
Have you checked out his videos?, otherwise I really recommend them.

Just checked him out. He has a full video going through the process, plus a brief explanation in the video descriptions. There's also a link to download them, not sure how you could miss that.

I saw the creation video, but I did'nt read the video descriptions.

They indeed look really good, althought I must say the original assets (AB) in the Conflux faction don't match the standards of the original game (RoE) in the first place. It's really a shame the faction did get so rushed. Aenain's earring is hardly recognizable as a jewelry, Pasis and Monere look like PVC pipes with eyes on them. And oh boy the town screen. The fort image is probably my least favorite, perhaps due of being painted as a small 2D image.
Really liking the artist, wouldn't mind if the art would be transfered to the game as well.

You can transfer the files to the game yourself.
I already did so.
Yeah no question Conflux was rushed, I still don't know what they were thinking with Bloodlust specialty, when half the Conflux units are immune to it and two more are ranged, that's really terrible game design.

I know that. They were thinking: "What would be a specialty, that we haven't used yet?" Nothing else. (They actually have used it before, but they didn't know that.)

Just found this, a more artistic AI reimagination of all H3 heroes (HotA included).

Some came out really rad, others are somewhat meh. Overall less true to the original portraits compared to LiquidValor's remasters.
Anyway, it's more of a just-for-fun thing. While someone did batch-downscale (without any sharpening or manual retouching) them over here

it's no good ingame imo. Plus it appears there are a few glitches (due to colour space conversion?).

A few of LiquidValor's works don't capture the essence of heroes well enough. Meanwhile, some of Dreamjar & LT Gaming's renders are really stunning. Ah, if only we can combine the cream of these crops.
