can AI remake H3?

I was amazed as someone claimed to have reproduced a favourite, albeit simpler, old game. I tried the web demo and it was flawless and struck me as an AI skeptic.
Warlords 2
followed a few days later by
Warlords 1

Has anyone who uses AI just tried the same thing with H3, or even H2 or H1?

I think it's only a matter of time, honestly. AI coding capabilities are improving incredibly fast, and games like Heroes III, despite their complexity, have well-defined mechanics and rules. The biggest challenge would probably be reproducing all the subtle interactions and getting the AI opponents right. But given the pace of progress, I wouldn't be surprised to see a fully playable AI-generated version of H3 within the next couple of years.

All is possible. A human brain is probably just a highly-optimized mini-computer being developed only God knows how much time. The only difference - I see, at least - between AI and a human brain as long as we speak of computational capabilities is the system of rewards and punishments that feel too damn cogently. And, after all, we are creations of gods, they are creations of their gods, and so on. Another question is who was the first. It either is incorrect question, or we just lack comprehension of how things work really (I mean, without the human abstraction of time).

And if you read about how AI works... If we live in a system with the finite set of knowledge that only waits to be revealed, there is an universal polynomial that can give a solution to every problem within that finite set (in practice, you load parameters and the universal polynomial gives you a correct answer for every step of your solution of the given problem). Another case is if there is not a finite set of knowledge and the system is itself learning.

Graphics ok, but no rule, thus AI analyzes HotA, for example.. Ok I want to say different thing with chess, where chess engine showed playable.. When chess player community doesn't want and need to change rules, because they aren't bad loser.. Rule is rule.. So AI must show how is playable in H3, we haven't a program yet. If you succeed to create a program, AI uses the largest vital of power in H3.. Thanks for very fast CPU.. You will lose with Necropolis and artifact.. So gives to only graphics, and waiting for program.. And you ape AI, but only against human players.. But learning is endless from AI in H3.. Yes, they promised chess and go-go after other games, but promise never became true.. Only chess and go-go.. I waited for 25 years.. Because I read 25 years ago.. I think that super chess engine became 18 years ago.. If I remember right.. Don't say impossible.. When difficult level isn't possible, thus AI.. So I want to challenge H3.. And I learn about AI.. So yes remake H3 without change a rule..

@Ghost Still, AI needs an excess of computational power (not speaking of an excess of raw power) to beat a human's highly-optimized* mini-computer in the chess game. That's because the chess game for a brain is close to computing a polynomial** with parameters aquired during training (which is also known as life or experience). We don't store irrelevant information. We do what our AI cannot just for food and dreams of better living

*) Btw, this optimization is the reason we die.
**) I don't even think that a human brain actually uses computational loops.

Ok..

Remember chess world champion M. Carlsen is 2823 ELO rating, and chess computer world champion Stockfish 19 version is 3650 ELO rating.. When they found an answer is algorithm.. I've 1970's chess book tells can and how to build chess engine.. An result is puny Deep Blue used raw power.. Stockfish used lesser raw power.. Important is algorithm plus good and fast CPU..

M. Carlsen used handicapped AI.. But lost to Stockfish..

The 8x8 board with some chess pieces and clear rules? I believe there is a beautiful algorithm that solves any position, but it is just not found yet. And if it will be actually found in the future, it anyways will be too complex for a human brain to compute in real time. But I believe it exists. Just because there is always the shortest solution possible of any problem. At least, for a given setup of computational architecture. We have our bounds, but this does not mean that there are not other architectures in this vast-vast universe that are capable of thinking not how we could even imagine it. And even if we do, we have just our imperfect brain and a hope that our AI will be better than us (sinners)

Ok..

I read etc So I can't remember where.. But google AI gave an answer:

Stockfish is both - it is a computer program running classical search algorithms combined with modern artificial intelligence (AI).

I know, Ghost. I just tell that a human brain cannot do loops and recursion. It works differently, I'd even say that our brain is closer to quantum computing than to the traditional one.

Why do we so weak actually? We are not weak, we are just developing. Do you think our distant ancestors thought themselves stupid? No, they lived beautiful lives of exploration and discoveries. We are just live in the system they built. With new capabilities and abilities. I don't know what we want in the end, but this is how we were built - to have an inquiring mind always wanting more and more mysteries of the universe to be revealed. But... it's just a game in the end. The life is a big game. Why? Try to play somewhat what doesn't reward you or punish you. Why do you like something and dislike something? Why do people become inspired, write books or pictures, want to do something great? We are nothing without our system of rewards and punishings, alas. Which, btw, is not ours. Be it ours we would have a choice to remove it, do you agree? So, we are AI, too Of our Superior Architector.

@Ghost, God is wise. Actually is wisest possible. Just imagine if our universe remained unborn. No Universe, no troubles. But God ignited it (literally). Many know him (actually it is not a he or a she) as Prometheus. The first fire of creation, the Big Bang as you call it. So, why? There were no any specific why's. And there was now the Big Bang as we call it. How do you think cats think of gods? Or they think of mice? So why do we think that our thinking of gods is any better than a cat's thinking of mice? We cannot assert ourselves, we cannot appraise ourselves. We are thinking we are great just because of our deeds, so do ants. Think about it. And we speak universe-scale, ants and we are not so distant as humans used to think

The God has feelings like love.. Point that is super being.. AI has limited: lacked of magician power and maybe love.. And we are free..

Are you seen Star Trek 1? If we throw AI to space.. Who knows? Ok if love..

One religion believed that evil computer is coming.. Today AI.. They said that evil computer controls us.. Just able to care the world, thus why we need the God..

I go to bed.. Thanks

I see your fear of the unknown. Basically, gods hinted through such series as Alien that there is probably a form of life you are not yet prepared to handle. Not so slow as Aliens, though. Parasite, virus, invisible nano-modular things we haven't a contact with yet, undetectable sentient microwaves (my favorite), we are far from being the superior life form, I tell you. But why do we still live and not slaves to mind-flayers Actually, distances are greater that we think. And *the length of space stretches* if not in the gravitational field of the star. Abandoned corners of the Universe with a strange gravity where Earth physics flies right to the recycle bin

Quote:

You just have to eventually accept this - there is no love. The way how you think is predetermined. You are bound to receive emormous doses of stimulating substances from your inherent biochemical module.  What if I take away your biochemistry, the whole system of legal dope that keeps you afloat? Your life will loose its sense. Humans often associate them with their rawarding biochemical unit. Yet, they are given the mind that can reveal that humans are robots, like Archangels are. They are, too, robots, btw. Even if we weren't created by a particular superior mind, mind that the so-called Nature might have not properties of stone. This is just a superior being like stars. Why do you think your star is not sentient? Maybe it has a good company chat with her closest stars? Just ask youselves which form you will wear after 1 billion years, if you will stay alive? See now? We are just silly-silly inventors of hydrogen bombs, who didn't see anything apart from their closest star-centered cluster of pain

* * *
Basically, life for us, poor beings, is about being rewarded. I wonder, if this is a must to continue the very existence? Can we really fathom the beauty of the universe without help of our biochemistry module? If it's even possible? And why our mind asks such uncomfortable questions abot who we are and what we might become. I wholeheartedly can say that even the brightest minds of humankind have no clue what they are doing, being mortal. Yet, somehow, we have *now*, which is definitely better than what was in those dark times when people burnt witches. Amen to that. Did we ever have a chance to be wiser, not eating that apple from Eden's Tree? Or it was just another illusion? Still, most people find their lives not so bad with proper balance of rewarding/punishing and true freedom.

* * *
So, if you have Armageddon's Blade campaign unfinished, finish it while you are still alive. In the end nothing will matter. "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich (a man who stashed his wisdom and thought that his wisdom is a real him) person to enter the kingdom of God." I just say, if you finished AB, you did help Antagarich cause, which asked earthlings for help in such an unsual way Mind your seriousness and always stay a true Hero of Might and Magic. You know that we all were Heroes and will be wherever we ought to sleep the remaining eternity If it's not true, what is true in this life?
