I guess AI works as an LLM to not have to deal with the hexes but when you say "VCMI" is already modable" that strikes me as true, but not really true for me since high-level programming -even opening the software enough to understand how to use it (as any IDE) is MUCH more difficult then just opening up the actual .exe and directly editing the hexes.
But we're getting there.. dead or alive

What I meant was, you can easily use AI to mod VCMI or fHeroes to do whatever you want. It is much harder to make the engine from scratch or use AI to mod the exe.

What are Homm Songs based on?

Admittedly not following on the specifics in AI development but I would think, considering the amount of footage of homm3 with commentary on yt and the fact that we have a good chunk of the game code in decompiled/precompiled form, it should already have enough data to train on? I mean AI is already used extensively in software development?

I see. That is what I mean it gets complicated when you're using one thing to change another thing which changes another thing - I have difficulty knowing how to start.
Whereas i know what a file is, just that it's a bunch of jibberish which requires transalation but I need the solidity of dealing with actual things then relative 'concepts' which are like complex molecules vs atoms.
