Things I've learned
Ever notice that when you learn one of Life's Really Important Lessons, it's usually the hard way?
Pain and suffering are great teachers, eh? 
So I was just thinking that maybe some folks would like to share the benefit of their wisdom with the rest of us.
I'll start with a few of the things I've learned, and if this thread takes off I'll prolly add more later
1. Those Grand Elves on your mine will get morale--and more than once.
2. That pack is 19, not 10.
3. That utopia I didn't check out is maxed.
4. If I'm prayin that bast Zud isn't wearing a recanter's, I can bet my everlovin arse he is.
Anyone else??

well..
1. everytime when I have a very powerfull chain opponent has pendant of negativity.. same thing.. when i have ressurection and implo he has recanter's
2. everytime when I pray to find on hg2/3 good relics I get endless sack of gold and boots of levitation
3. everytime when i play with castle town on randoms , ,the conservatory which is near castle has only lots of griffins giving me 1 angel
4. everytime when i dont get intelligence or dungeon or something to double my spell points opponent has them..
5. most of the time when I play on randoms opponent has level7 external dwelings and I dont..
6. ............same story with relics..
7 everytime when I say... hey I have pendant of courage.. I will sure get extra bonus.. I dont.. and opponent who has like +1 to morale gets them..

always check treasuries and stores b4 hittin em
if i get speed cape or tabard, i will get both and recanters also
if i get speed necklace, I will also get bliss and lightning pendant (refer to previous dilemma)
and never, never hit a witch hut with main b4 checking it with scout (it will be eagle eye, mysticism or navigation if u do, hehe)

How about this...
Never retreat scout to ally side bringin' him the shackles... but just putting them in the ole backpack...ACK!!
Another of my favorites...
Never offload main heroe's troops on a mine while enemy is in center by the trading post buying boots of speed...bastage now moves 3X farther then normal now.
This one helps...
Most maps whilst playing dungeon/rampart/tower never forget to build castle week 2 ... troops dont seem to add up somehow.

When using a might hero, you will get all magic arts. (Instead of Mephala or Taz getting the +12 shield, they will get the titans curiss, I myself would rather have the shield)
When using a magic hero, you will get all might arts. (Instead of Solymr getting the titans curiss, he gets the +12 shield, I myself would rather have the curiss)
When I get the Rancanters, I always seem to get 1 or 2 of the magic books, so I use the books instead of recanters, this would be great, EXCEPT, it never fails, oppentent is sporting the red orb. 
The biggest thing that I learned the hard way:
Armourists take double damage from a castle's shooters while attacking the castle. It was kind of funny watching 7 black dragons kill 7 grand elves per hit, yet I was lossing 11 grand elves per round due to the castle's shooters. (Note to self: Balista is a pretty good skill for any hero sporting the armour skill.)

i lerand 1 MAIN thing about this game ... and if u can do this u can be the best player,,,
SPEED is the KEY 2 WIN and be a better player
the faster u do things and get more stuff and bulid up the better chnace u have .
all the gr-8 players r in center like week 1 when i can onlt get there there tops week 2 when i was a newbie only week 4

I've learned alot
Season 1 lessons learned:
1. Having more than 1 hero is neccessary 
2. 8 hero chains are possible only seemed wrong first time i saw it
3. Loher is Flamingo and Skungsling is Antal(silly me picking fights with em)
4. Sindy_j seemed korean and pietaccj was korean ^^(also had many accounts)
5. I hated all XL made maps
6. I sucked on all maps made by jb "originally"
7. Desert War was an awesome map...........
8. "Simyar" was a good place to play some heroes
Season 2:
1. Desert War was getting old and now a 1-2 week map(amazing i thought)
2. Deceptions of good was my favorite map (wonder who made it?)
3. Deceptions of good attracted long turn players tim, vult, frank, the russians thus ending my enjoyment of the map.
4. Jb stopped making any good maps (probably too busy with Beth)
5. Never beat a russian
6. Never beat a russian again.
7. Hourglass was made I hated it.
8. BattleMania was a good map for 2 days
9. Sindy_j was man who had a "friend" named "naina" she was female...
10. Sindy became a shim.
11. HC(Honor Council) was crippled
12. Ego got to big "Simyar" became "ToH" probably had nothing to do with the porn at main page.
Season 3 I am having trouble remembering now)
1. Hourglass 2 was a good map i still hated hourglass
2. Battlemania was overplayed
3. Vazelin learned not to play me twice (i was responsible for 2 of his what? 5 losses or somethin)
3a. I learned hit and run is a usefull tactic against people who use it aswell.
4. Hit and run sucks if your playing somebody who doesn't like it.
5. Jinxer became more of a loud mouth.
6. DESERT WAR should of been left back in season 1.
7. NOBODY played their divisions games
8. dueduedue and diediedie seemed like bed buddies.
9. HC(Honor Council) still was crippled
Season 4:
1. 1 hero can be used for some games
2. Clans was fun but tiresome
3. Moc has issues
4. Motor has more issues
5. Andi left HC
6. Bostards is better than ToH
7. Everybody was 10 times more whiney than they were in season 1 (myself included)
8. Heroes 4 was JUST a dream still is hearing all the moaning about it now.
9. Everybody got 10 times better than I was
10. "blub" is more annoying everytime its said specially by people who dont ever use it unless in "blub's" presence BLARG!
Bah i really only learned one thing that is heroes is a game money is better and sex is better than both.
Also (i gonna get in trouble) I learned never to play russians.

hmmmmm
i learn that these points are indisputable:
-motor loves 2vs2's
-titan loves them as much
-2vs2's good way to teach
-also good way to learn
-save everyturn and study-frank taught me here
-aculias loves subway sandwiches
-bonopart hates ves
-ves prolly doesnt care
-chaining well=better winning percentage
-conflux only played by wieners
-mad unicorn loves blarg too
-dont piss hamsi off,he will send martigan
-destro's house is invaded by wild dogs once per month
-either my cpu blows up or my connection gets wiggy once per week
-fortress is a killer
-tower is a joke
-randoms rule
-this game is addictive
-i babble

And it is always the farthest one (to your main) which will teach you logistics, path finding, or earth magic.

Cause every necromancer auto comes with necromancy..
And other heroes can't get necro...
Am I wrong..??
Altho,,come to think of it ive gotten adv. necromancy from hut,,with a necro hero..I think,,hehe

You CAN get the necro skill for any hero. The only way to do it though is through a scholar. Somebody made that comment awhile back. They claimed to get it with Hack. This has never happened to me, so I don't know for sure.
