What are we supposed to do anyway?
Everyone is talking about being responsible and contributing to HC. Well what the hell are we supposed to do?
Does this mean that we can never spam again? Are we allowed to joke around? Can we start stupid nonsense threads? What kind of threads are "responsible?"
After everyone is done explaining this to me, then we are going to talk... about what WE are going to do... to be responsible.
I'll start, wait I don't know what I can do yet, so it's your turn.

Probably the best way of responsibility is to ask yourself if what you post here will cause conversation to flow better. If all your saying is "me too" and "you suck", no matter how many words it is...you're not helping the flow of the conversation. Doesn't mean you have to be serious/QP-hunting. Look at the first 8 pages of the first "Naked Girls..." thread. Most of that's thoughtful. And oh, the thoughts that were there... *LOL*
The more you start to talk about things in a thoughtful manner, humorous or not, the better you get. Simple as that.

Being "responsible" like Gimmickless said, can be just something like keeping the flow of the conversation. Yes, I think you can most likely start nonsense threads, but don't turn the nonsense away from nonsense on nonsense threads and don't turn the sense into nonsense on sensible threads

Post stuff that you know will be worthwhile, and if even have an inkling that what you are about to post something ridiculously stupid, that others may not like,consider that and if you really do not want to do that then don't hit submit...I know that has happenned to me a few times. You don't always have to say something, even if nobody else does. Sometimes it's just because it's not worth it.
Follow your instincts, and if they mislead you, then follow your heart and soul. Post responsibly.

Itīs easy..
If we were supposed to be responsible, or even excpected to, there would be no mods.
Since there are mods, we are supposed to spam, create nonsense threads, joke around, flame, and even talk dirty once in a while.

No it doesn't (I know you're just kidding), but if you think that what you're going to say is funny and you aren't posting in a super-serious(I just made a new word) thread,(it doesn't say that all spam will be deleted at the beginning of the thread)(btw, I usually don't like those threads)(unless it's a game) then you should go ahead and joke around, because laughing is the 2nd best way to relieve stress.(We all know what the best way is)

I'm sorry, I'll promise that I will try not to revive old and forgotten threads any more....
The word "responsible" consists of two parts - the first one indicating the noun "response", while the second one indicating "able" - thus we come to the conclusion that responsible posting means submiting posts, to which others will be able to effortlessly and responsibly respond  .
