Now go to the tavern there and have some ale, and calm down, me being an old one, will stay here and concentrate, or get some sleep (it is already night) and recover, I'm sure that we will need a bit of rest...

I ain't a bard myself. However, if you have a problem with bard/thief you see stting over there, you have a problem with me too. Are we clear on this?

Alright, we seem to have a small army amassed, lol. Ok I guess we will start soon. Just a note, It´s based on D&D NWN rules, but they are just guidelines. Our imagination creates the real rules, and what happends, and so on.
The Original Party Members:
1.Nebuka, cleric of Church of Good
2.Athimus Phaeni, wizard from the frozen lands of north
3.Hudson, a fighter
4.Ilus Yin-Yak the warrior
5.Bjorn190, a Human cleric
6.Dark Maniac, fighter
7.Madmartigan, barbarian
8.RobinHood, ranger
9.raZor_X, sorcerer (they get familiars I think, right?)
10.Nidhgrin, bard/thief
A party of 10.
Wizards/Sorcerers: 2
Clerics: 2
Thieves/Bards: 1
Fighters:3
Barbarians: 1
Rangers: 1
I think it sounds as a good party. What do you think? This post also marks the point of start of the campaign.
Anyone joining after this post will get only 80 points to distribute on stats, and in a few days, new characters only get 75. So if u wanna join up, do it now
Ok, we can all add to the storyline, to make it exiting for everyone, and fun. But no giving yourself UBER powers or spawning a fiery comet on the bard without a reason or stuff like that
So to start..
You are in a tavern.. with 9 other adventurers. They look heroic, and powerful. And you´re waiting to meet the one who has called you there. You have talked to the others and you all got the same letter. A simple message on a piece of parchment. Nothing special, if it wasn´t for the fact that the letters are pulsating with green light, as if some magic energy was waiting to be unleashed.
"Brave adventurer. The Arch-wizard and Lord of the Green Gateway seeks your aid in a most important matter. The task is not easy, but the reward is substantial. For now, this is all I can tell you, but meet me at twilight in the tavern of the one-legged bull on the 4th sunday of the month of may, and everything will be revealed."
The last lines of the note capture your attention more than anything:
"Payment for just showing up: 100 gold."
You are in the tavern, waiting for someone to show up. It´s a typical tavern, with guests, bartenders, and the usual tavern stuff.

Aye, sir. I'm here because of the letter. My name would be Nidhgrin. I come from the far north, but I've been around the world a bit. I have quite good schouting skills and can sneak past enemies unseen. I'm also into lockpicking, well and a little bit of stealing at times, hehe. No worries though, it would be pointless to steal from you all, hehe. Oh, and I sing, play my lute or flute to lighten the mood or to raise yer all courage.

SUDDENLY! The Door blows open with a BANG! The wind blows inside, getting the attention of everyone in the tavern. A shining light is at the door, too bright to see what it is hiding..
When the light fades, tall man in a green robe steps inside, with 2 humanoid, yet beastly guards by his sides. Both wielding Huge Halberds that seem to make the very air near their edge vibrate. You understand that this is not a man you wish to mess with..
"Gentlemen! I see you have found your way here. Im glad. I am the Lord of the Green Gateway, and I am the one who has called you here."
As the wind dies down the man and his guards approach the table you´re sitting by. He seems to walk on air, just an inch above the floor.
"I have summoned 10 of the finest champions of the land, because I need your aid in a very important task. You must find me the Jade monkey, before the next full moon. This is vital to keep the Green Gateway I am guarding closed. If it opens, an evil wich the world has not seen in hundreds of years will be released. An evil wich my father himself fought and helped imprison a long time ago, and gave his life to keep locked away.
I know you, as everyone else, needs gold, so I will reward you for your troubles. Make no mistake, I have amassed a great deal of gold during my years, but gold has no use if there is noone left to trade with, so lets pray that you succeed. If you find me the Jade monkey in time, I will give each of you ten thousand gold pieces. Enough to buy a full plate armour from a master smith, or a powerful magical item. In addition to this, I will use my magic to enhance the ones who survive, giving you one random power from numerous possibly alternatives.. that is.. if you wish to take the risk. Some of the powers are good, and powerful.. but some.. are not. Magic of the magnitude neccessary to bind the such a force inside you is too wild to control 100%. That is why I will allow you to choose if you want the power or not.
Anyway, enough about the reward, lets get to business. Time is passing as we speek. you only have 2 weeks until the next full moon, and your mission is of uttmost impoartance.
Do you agree to find me the Jade monkey for this reward?
I will give you an hour to decide, then I will return for your answer.
Goodbye gentlemen"
The man gazes across the room and then turns around and exits the tavern, leaving everyone very very quiet for a brif moment, and then the music begins again.

Dressed in leather armour that's seen far too many battles, muscular but fast on my feet. I carry my greatsword on my back, and a mace hanging from my belt.
Alignment - well that's something I think you should keep secret and let others work out from your actions
From the west of the realm we are in, a fighter who has grown up in a large city and trained to be a militia man. I got fed up and decided to earn my own way and be my own boss.
