I suggest we go to the windmill. A mad wizard is certainly meaning that we will have strong foes and we will have to use our skills at best. Perhaps it will even be a little difficult. I would like to see.
It's right that the city may have some interest too but this story of a mad wizard make me think it should be more related with your level. You're an experienced party, aren't you?

@Ashlar: Sorry Ashlar, but Athimus(the RPG character is a very unfriendly wizard as you can see in the previous post. He doesnt like Shadow_Elf at all, he 'accept' the barbarian(MadMartigan) in the party because of the lack of warriors. And he simply doesnt care about the 'newcomers'. Maybe the only ones he think that are 'respectable' members are Bjorn for his leadership, RedSoxFan, for being another wizard and Robin Hood for their friendly first days in the party(before Robin leaving).

In reply to redsoxfan's earlier post, about quests, I'd like to say that that was only one of the many quests. Don't prefer what has yet to come. Cheers.

By the way. If you die you will NOT be ressurected, only Bjorn would stay alive. All your equipment would be left where you died, and if Bjorn decides to ressurect you, he will need to visit any temple and pay a fee for the ressurection, at 100 gold per level of the intended target.
Hint: Told ya just in case you die by the magic of some wizard or something

Since anybody is deciding where to go...
*Athimus starts to leave the 'shop'*
Athimus: "Hey, Bjorn, we are losing valuable time here, lets go."
Bjorn: "Oh.. Alright, lets go then. Cīmon everybody lets leave, we decide our destiny during the walk."
*The party leaves the 'shop', and go again to the cave and take the right path(the left one lead to the basilisk)*

Sunlight has never been more inviting. As the brilliant rays shines on the land, you see in the distance columns of smoke rising from the horizon. It appears there is some kind of... and then you notice. The city of Kalim is under attack, and the raging fire devours the city like a comet had just hit it. The clashes of steel can be heard from where you stand, and the shouts and cries of the soldiers as they charge the city echos throughout the void. It appears the city of Uldashur has just initiated the full scale attack on Kalim, and is winning. Hopefully you would be able to find Pegyn the bard amidst the tenseness of the city of Uldashur. Your detour to the city took a few hours, and the day has turned to night when you finally approach the city of Uldashur. The glimmering of the fire raging through Kalim is more obvious at night, and you feel pity for the residents of there. Upon arrival you notice the drawbridge is up, and there are guards manning the fort. You call out to the guards, and upon proving your identity, they let you in.

Tavern of Jolly Men Have a drink, and entertainment, for your needs. Bed and breakfast

I noticed that this decision making process is taking WAY TOO LONG. Maybe we could find a way to speed up the process. Perhaps we could split up into pairs and go visit all of the places and meet back here in let's say 1 hour.
Athimus and I will go to the magic shop, while Bjorn and Tuapui could go to the temple. Then Shadow_Elf and Mad can go to the merchant to check out weapons and armor.
