Fantasy
So What do you guys rate as the greatest story ever told??? It can be the story for a game, the storyline for a film or just a good book that you have read.... all in all mine would have to be the story behind ff7, with the whole end of the world clone shinra shin-dig, oh yeah just thinking about that makes be smile...

I'll have to say Fallout and Fallout2. I mean they're the first post-apoalyptic cRPGs that the whole world actuall heard of. And they're sooo good. If any Fallout fan is reading this - did you ever try playing with an inteligence of 2? Try it, it's good!

It may be a bit cliche, but I just love LOTR. It is extremely well thought out with a coherent history and just enough gaps in what's written to really get you thinking about the world. For example, who is Tom Bombadil and where did he really come from?

Oh, and the Discworld is great, too. It's so absurd that it could actually be real!

Computer games wise Planescape Torment is out of this world, there's simply nothing to compare to that. Films wise, I would have to say LOTR as nothing can compare to that.
In terms of books, well I shall break with tradition and go with the dragonlance collection as they are a great storyline that has been added to continuously for years and some of the characters are great. LOTR is great too, but I found it a little long winded in places for me

In movies...Star Wars-don't worry, it's fantasy...
In books there are too many, I cannot decide...
In games...I agree with Lord_Woock on the issue...

yea fallout rocks... it's professional... bozar rulez! fallout tactics is ver diappointing in a sense... I LOVE RPG!!! Baldur's gate, icewind dale, neverwinter nights! oh so happy! And btw i think you need a keycard for that door. I'm not sure haven't played the game for ages.
and playing with intelligence 2, the only person that you seem to be able to talk to is torr. Many quests are disabled but nevertheless fun, especially when you meet those guys at navarro...

The Icewind Dale Trilogy from R A Salvatore. Drizzt is very cool and also the assassin Entreri. I just loved the first 2 books of the trilogy, I still have to read the third but I bet it will be great.

Quite simple. Just disarm the trap with your traps skill. And the last time I played Fallout I finished it in 3 days, no cheating. Finding the Master wasn't too hard. But I still can't manage that electric maze in F2 .
