I hate GameSpy
[rant]
It seems that the one and only crack I've ever used in my life (to keep GameSpy's required ads from popping up) is now forceably retired by the said evil organization. They are doing such a good job of annoying me that I've considered paying the d_mn fee just to get it to stop. But then I feel like a wuss for caving in and it makes me just want to go over and blow up one of their servers. A bad choice of words considering the real world we live in these days but nonetheless why can't they get it that annoying people to pay is a sh_tty way of doing business and actually add value for the paid service instead?
Ok, so we get to match up with buddies on their system. However, we paid for a game and multiplayer supposedly is included with that payment. All I can say is "Go to freakin' h_ll GameSpy."
Just a little pissed here and not able to do anything about it.

I am a pessimist
What we see now will only get worse, economy isnt doing to well, so we will se more ads, more complicated ads, more charges for 'free services' and reduced quality for everything that has to do with computing and internet.
This is just the beginning 
All I can do at this point is keep ToH active and improve the activity of homm4 multi community over time.

The next time you find a crack, keep it for yourself. Posting detailed instructions on a public message board only makes a software company's job easier.

And if I'm not wrong, GameSpy Arcade installs some nasty spyware, that spies your doings and goings in the net and fills your inbox with junk mail that "interests" you, on your computer...

Yes we all know that AngelSpit is a big tattle tale. I big Fat crybaby that had to run and tell. I am sure you are very proud of yourself. BTW are you a member of TOH? NO? Then why dont you stay outta our message board.
We have no need for tattle tale crybaby control freaks here.
It is just soooo sad that you are jealous that Ves's site TOH is soo much more popular than your site that you would have to resort to this type of baby acting.

Angelspit, if you read this
Was that comment directed to me? Because I never have posted anything about cracks.
The only other comment I have here is that ToH is the only thing left that is keeping and pushing to keep the homm4 multi community alive. Want to be a positive force towards that goal?

my 2 cents...
anyone know if the $20 for gamespy is for a lifetime membership, a yearly, or monthly? I haven't looked into it much as I am persistantly broke lol.

LichKing: I was once a moderator of both the Tavern and the Heroes IV forums, and probably the only active mod for quite a while. I spent countless hours sorting threads, helping new members and cleaning the Tavern. I should also mention that I said much more good things about the Tournament of Honor than I said bad things (if ever). So I will ask you to do a little more reading before implying that I am involved in some anti-ToH activism, ok?
Vesuvius: Nope, the comment was not directed to you. Someone else (can't remember who) opened the crack threads. As for keeping the Heroes world active, I will do everything I can. However, software crack usage remain an unacceptable action.
bobntamr1: I believe membership last for life.
Jinxer: Did you have a lot of fun trick or treating last week with your friends with your nice Sub-Zero suit? I'm sure everyone was scared. Take this chewing gum and go play with your friends while the adults talk, will ya?

If you look at my profile you'll see I'm no noob here. I was here when you passed the torch to Rogue and left for greener pastures. I remember your mod days well.
As for me doing a bit more reading before implying anything, I would say to you that the general tone and context of 99% of what you post here, coupled with some of your news items posted on CH are quite enough for me to form an opinion upon which to base implications.
Still, even if those weren't enough, I've had other sources of input which have led me to feel this way.
I don't mean to be obnoxious here, but when was the last time you posted something here that wasn't anti-toh or negative in one aspect or another?
Maybe I've missed something and I'm running my mouth like an idiot......guess it wouldn't be the first time.

Maybe I missed something, but since when did not supporting illegal cracks become synonymous with not supporting TOH? I know Angelspit supports TOH and wishes nothing more than for the Heroes community to grow, I'm not sure why everyone was so quick to claim otherwise...
(And maybe he doesn't post here often because everyone is so quick to flame for no particular reason)
