i think he's just a bit cocky cuz he's conquered the h3 map editor.. in h3, any tom larry or joe can find all the errors in a map.. h3 maps are so simple and you even have map verification to help you. "look ma, i can turn on passability and scan a map!" "here son, have a cookie"
h4 maps about 100x more complicated (at least some of them), and even passability is more of a b_itch, with trees/mountains being so much bigger.. they may cloud your vision

Now, did you made your offer for H3 maps only? I haven't made H3 maps for years. Chaotic Playgrounds is H4 Map, (as is Laelth's Imperial Prison by the way). And the stuff we are talking about here, are H4 maps.
If you made your offer for Heroes4 as well, well, then I expect you to stand by it. I don't mind if someone is ready to look thoroughly a very complex map for possible errors and then fixes them and informs me about those fixes. In fact, I'd be thankful for it. But even then you have to wait until Chaotic Playgrounds is ready, as it still is in the works.

all i'm saying is..
it is easy to find the bugs in any h3 map (if there are any), no matter the complexity. I'm sure there are numerous people who can scan a h3 map and clean it of any bugs. no offence but.. don't expect everyone to give you a bj just because you can spot all errors on a h3 map. now, if you can do it on a h4 map (including all the scripts).. well, then you may get some
btw, you ever been in the army before? heh..

altars
when u hit quest hut, you are now told altars will dissapear day 15, but they actually go away day 13. I think this is a bit early. sometimes u want to get one skill lvl up b4 taking on a secondary skill. or see other towns, witch huts and magic university (seminary, Library)b4 choosing. Not to mention somtimes other things are very important to do asap in game and u dont want to go to altars yet.
If it is that important for transfers or whatever to get rid of them, I would suggest that they are deleted when u pick the skill from hut (all others) and no time limits.

OK, fine. I just wrote the script Zud requested that keeps the altars you select available while deleting all the rest. It was a pain, but it's done, and the script works correctly.
But if there are any more suggestions for version 1.7, now's the time to make them. I'm hoping not to have a version 1.8.

Imperial Prison version 1.7 is available now at Laelth's HOMMaps: http://www.vandea.com/homm/maps.html. I've taken suggestions from the players who play it and refined it in a way that I hope is satisfactory to all. Here's what the readme file says:
Quote: Version 1.7 Notes: Replaced the lvl. 4 generators near corner towns with lvl. 3 generators. Re-activated the libraries in the towns outside the prison compound. Corrected a couple of passability errors. Eliminated the need to pick up altars before a certain day. The altars you did not select are destroyed when you make your selection. Made the guards for the white and red oracles weak lvl. 2 stacks to take away the bandit's advantage of being able to sneak a peek without fighting.
