The Blood Dragons are NOT supposed to drain life every hit like Vamp Lords. They just have the ability to do so as a bonus to all their other stuff. So it is intentional that it is not all the time. Can you imagine if they did that every hit? They would become one of the deadliest creatures in the game. I could be wrong but I think it is somewhere around a 35% chance.

Now if they take blood all the time,just a group of united dragons could just stick together and win the entire game against an entire army of supreme arch,champions,zealots..etc a full set of army for 2 weeks could be defeated by 4 blood dragons,I think..

Plus, doesn't having them in your army give the hero a cloak of darkness? Seems to me that when I see an enemy hero with a stack of these in his army, he leaves a trail of darkness behind him.

but i have know idea about the

Yes if you have darkness dragons in your army the hero leaves a trail of darkness where ever he/she goes. I love watching the map cover itself when the enemy has darkness dragons.

If them Darkness Dragons had no enemy retal, they'd be a bit like super-hyper-ultra-harpy hags

come on now Woock we all know the Acidelic Hydras are the best, sure thier not as fast but they sure can hit hard in a group & that sec hit from thier acid hit is outstanding but I agree with my first choice the best creature for the 8th lv unit is defanately the Ghost Behemoth, not only a 100% cutting your armourere down with each hit but also very powerful & hard to kill, not to mention no obstacle penalty meaning you can excape from thier grasp like you could with Ancients round 1 if not haste

ya. Hydras are good against lower lv creatures,but not in 1 on 1s. Hydras can be real deadly if you know how. Bless is a really good spell to use on hydras, and counterstrike too.Stuck them in with all those lvs 1,2,3 and 4s and they would all be a goner. Counterstrike is realllly effective in those situations.

Fire shield is pretty tough & since Ghost behemoths do alot more damage then any other creatures in the game, they will surely take the worst hit off the fireshield.
Whats one behemoth when you can kill lots of effretis etc .
