The natural habitat for griffins, as much as it can be determined for a fantasy creature, appears to be mountainous regions, particularly near gold mines.

Griffins
Apart from wolves griffins are my favourite creature, and because I also like knights I say castle.

griffins appeared in heraldy -- dragons also appeared in heraldy. i agree castle might be an ok chouce for griffins, but not for that reason.
i would rather ask: in what way are the griffins noble?
they were guardians of kings and treasures of gods, but what would that mean? i think that based on kasparov's post i would first consider castle (not life town) or order (not wizard town).
order because of griffins being the servants of the gods.
not wizard town because i feel that rocs should be controlled by wizardry rather than griffins.
as griffins and titans would feel ok in same town, i would put them both in order town but not in wizard tower. so it turns out that i would not put titans in wizard town..
so i would put the titans and griffins in nature town. or maybe in barbarian town. or maybe in castle. or maybe not.
i hope i made perfect sense.

I'd say that they fit good in Castle/Haven/whatever. They have this majestic (word?) look - But they allso fit in the warlock/sorcerer-sheme, because they, too have this bestial,fearsome appearence - so, both
