HOMM-Immolating n00b
Thanks for the welcome! I must be the only die-hard strategy gamer here who can't get a handle on the HOMM games! I play HOMM2 and HoMM3, and in both games the same thing happens: I play for a while, scoop up resources and mines, and then my main army meets disaster against an enemy army and my interest wanes. Sure, I can pick up another hero and start the process all over, but I'm missing the fundamental HOMM instinctual knowledge that says: "Attack these armies, but not that one. If you do, you're dead and will spend many turns rebuilding."
Any advice would be appreciated. I'm trying to appreaciate these classics, but this is really stopping me cold.
Thanks!

Playing with my many brothers it was always a stalemate kind of game, lol to the point where we were bursting with legions. Being one of the older ones, myself and my elder brother clashed to reduce our numbers since we were far older then the rest it would give us a handicap to balance the game out.
But really if you'd see all the games I've played you'd come to the conclusion that I far prefer to build armies then use them . (against other players not mine creeps and et cetera)

Hello all I'm new here.
Just recently wondered and ventured into the might and magic franchise and am immediately in love with it . Even pre ordered a collectors edition and bought the king's bounty series LOL.
But I think I'm a terrible player :x.
I have some burning questions I would like answered.. and tips on how to play it well @@.
I'm really glad I found a community like this as the ubi forums are... Kinda empty lol.
I hope to learn lots from you guys!

Hello, everyone! I am Breefolk, or just Bree for short. I'm new to the Might & Magic games, having been brought in for a little dabbling with HoMM5 and now have become interested in H6. I saw H5 and started playing it a bit, and despite the writing, voice acting and interface being sub-par in my opinion, the gameplay enthralled me. This came as quite a surprise when you consider that I'm typically attracted to games based more on story than anything else. I'm not even a huge strategy gaming fan. I'm terrible at strategy games! I just loved the style of play, and from what I've seen of H6, it is going to be far better.
Anyway, I've been sort of lurking a bit, and I decided I'd get in on the discussion. It looks like a nice community, and I hope to learn a lot and get to know others who share my interest in the series.

I once had H2 cause I H4, H, H2 and H1 together.
I only played H3 and 4.
Then I lost H 2.
H1 was a bit lame but alright.
H4 was not fun.
