Greetings all...I'm new here, but have been doing HOMM pretty seriously since the original first came out.
I have a number of HOMM3 maps that I've made...since before the turn of the century. Would love to share them and even get feedback. Where would be the best place to do that?

Hello moto. If you notice there is a forum section for pretty much all the might and magic games, including heroes of course.
Also on the bottom there is a last 10 posts section, and general discussion is on the right, heroes games on the left.
I know there is an active community for the gaming side, I haven't played for many years myself so I can't elaborate much, on where to upload maps. But there's a place.

Heroes boards is the game section.
There is a homm 1-3 section, and a map making section.

Hello. I'm not "new", have played HoMM games since the SoD release. Have been using this forum for years, yet I'm not sure if I have a forgotten older account, maybe I do.
But since the current forum mechanisms force me to spam posts before I can make another thread, I hereby do exactly that.

I came here for info about playing those classics on a modern system, but I might stick around.

So how it is up there? How is the life of colonist? isn't it too cold? how are living quaters?
Have you seen Earth with Moon coming close to Venus on morning or evening sky? It's one of the thing I'd like to see in my life... 
Did you get there by spaceship or by teleport like Obama?

If I had to colonize a far off planet with only a few games on a PC I'd go with homm as well.

Hi! I've been here some time before, but long ago, so I'll re-introduce myself.
I'm a fan of the game series and I'm also a songwriter. I've loved to create own content for the game, and so far I have made many maps for the third installment of the game, and it's mods.
Maybe two years ago I had an idea - could I actually do music for the game? I had created a long 12 map custom campaign and one day I thought that I want to do a song based on the story of it. But soon I wanted to do more, and now I have 11 songs as full band arrangement home demos - one per each faction - as songs ready and I have completed three custom campaigns (Castle, Necropolis, Inferno) and more are coming (for the rest of the factions).
Map making takes more time because it requires testing. But the songs need improvements too - guitars, backing vocals and better sounds, and maybe some special effects.
The plan is to publish all the campaigns later, if there's a possibility to give the link to the songs somehow with them.
You can find two of my maps for maps4heroes, World Of War VIII and The Sulfur Gang. The former is a huge 8 player tournament map, while The Sulfur Gang makes fun of our former prime minister's (Finland) cocaine use.
Thanks for keeping this site up and I will soon share the songs! They are on SoundCloud in a hidden folder. I will talk more about them later in an own thread because I have a lot to say about them.
