I remembered that there was a POFFIN STAT GUIDE in that old, old Helnith stats thread. So I didn't have to ask about them here.

Wait, Kareeah... doesn't Intimidate trigger when the intimidating pokemon is first sent out? I don't think Marick, having been sent in after the luxray had been out for a round, should have his attack reduced.

That doesn’t make any sense. Why would it suddenly stop being intimidating?
Regardless, the way I’ve been running it, Intimidate is in effect as long as the Pokemon that has it is out on the field. If Luxray leaves the field, Intimidate will go away unless and until it comes back. If you’ve got some way to suppress its Ability that would work too. Or you could use Special-based attacks instead.
Tl: dr - there are already plenty of ways around it, it doesn’t need nerfing.

You know, it's a fair point and makes sense, it's just different from how the games run it. Question answered!

I'll be waiting until Pinklady decides what pokemon she wants to use, since they only have 6 to pick from. *flexes at having a slightly wider variety, chooses to disregard the flex else the DM will have my pokemon rofl-stomped immediately*

Remember they all have to be within five levels of each other.

Pinklady will choose Poliwhirl (Croaky), Skiploom (Leapsy), and Dustox (Bigbug); they are all level 25.
gorman, will you lead with the scene change to Trainer Hill with your next post?

Oh, sorry, do you mean waiting for a post on the (RPG) thread? And just to make sure before I post, I do indeed pick three Pokémon - so I can go with the three I mentioned - right? I saw the introductory post for Trainer Hill on page 300 of the (RPG) thread but it doesn't hurt to make sure.

Allow me to clarify: you’re fine, gorman still needs to pick his Pokemon before I can get you two set up with your battle. Posting here is fine for Pokémon selection.

Figures I'm late again...
Ahem, I'll choose Poliwhirl, Rattata, and Flaaffy for mine.
Edit ~ Pinklady, would you like to just wing the battles by picking moves as we go or did you want to strategize something ahead of time here in the OoC thread? I mean, I picked my own Poliwhirl as I figured it could Bubble everything, including yours to heal it, if need be. Else I think everything my pokemon have are like.... one attack moves instead of multi-target.

I enjoy strategizing something ahead, sure! I don't believe any of my own Pokémons' moves are multi-attack either.
Skiploom's main trick is that it has a couple moves to spread status; Dustox has Moonlight/Protect/Harden, though I'm guessing Moonlight will be the only one relevant in these double battles; and my own Poliwhirl can start up some rain to help boost yours' attacks.
