Same thing, lower it by 1 each Tier. So at Expert you completely remove all magic schools from your opponent, at basic you decrease them by 1 at Advanced you decrease them by 2.

That sounds pretty damn powerful, potentially you could remove 4 skills from enemy heroes!
And you probably want the skill yourself, so enemies can't remove your mass spells, permanent Resurrection etc.

Sorry I meant it reduces other skills like Tactics does tactics. So it can't be used defensively. If both you and your opponent have it, it still works at full power.

Okay, that actually makes it even more powerful, as there is no way to prevent the enemy from removing your mass spells, perma-Res etc.

You actually gave me a perfect idea - anti-magic school specialists.
1/4 the power of LC's resistance.. maybe your is over-powered by about 2*

I hate both very much.
I hate Interference because it feels... inelegant... intangible... bizarre...
It doesn't affect spells directly. It lowers the opponent's spell power. I hate that. I hate that a lot.
I hate Resistance because it's a largely badly designed mechanic to begin with. Randomly being totally immune to spells is a garbage idea with a garbage implementation. It's useful. It does some awfully interesting things. It's technically pretty balanced. But, I hate it anyway.
Change Resistance so it reduces spell damage received by 10/25/50%, and reduces the duration of harmful effects including creature spell-effects (Basilisks, Dread Knights, Ghost Dragons, Medusas, Rust Dragons, Scorpicores, etc) by 25/50/75%.
Interference should reduce the healing and summoning from enemy spells and creature effects (Arch Angels, Demon Lords, Phoenixes, and Vampire Lords) by 10/25/50% and reduce the duration of their positive effects including creature spell-effects (Enchanters, Master Genies, and Ogre Magi) by 25/50/75%.
I would like to see a system where, when a hero has Resistance, that Interference cannot be rolled on level up. And vis versa, you cannot roll Resistance if you already have Interference.
The reasoning I give here is this.
1 - It would be nice if both of these skills worked against a few creatures in general, not just spell casting.
2 - It would be nice if their effects were very noticeable, but niche, as way to make them feel more impactful wherever they would be applicable.
3 - It would be annoying if an opponent could pickup both, there by hard-countering opposing spell casters.
4 - It is more fair that Interference works against positive effects instead of both positive and harmful effects.
5 - The duration reduction should be extremely noticeable... for a lot of different reasons.
Granted, I think that Resistance specialization and Interference specialization would need to be reworked or removed. I am largely okay with this.
