It is just concept art though, keep that in mind. Creating a 3D model will be a long and careful process, with many changes possible. It will probably end up looking different
I do hope Ubisoft will keep the creatures in reasonable human proportions (the whole 8 heads thing)

As concept art it looks fine to me. However that doesn't mean that's what I want to see in the actual game and it won't be. In my opinion the proportions could be altered a bit but it doesn't seem completely out of whack so it works for me.

Some people say them HoMM5 artworks are too cartoonish, some say it's too realistic. Weird, eh?

I think that the Archer is by far the best of all the Heroes 5 concept art pieces. It truly captures the essence of Heroes II and III, in my opinion. If Ubisoft sticks with this style, and not the cartoony, anime abominations that some of the other pieces hint at, they'll certainly make a game worthy of the title Heroes of Might and Magic.

I think it looks great but im not to sure about the leather amour ontop of what looks like chainmail armour. Maybe just stick to all metal armour, but hey it still looks good!

its nice, better then the former archer. i like the details the most. you can even see a proper expresion on its face. the right kind of outfit. good looking weapons. but the hands do seem a bit on the bigger side.

I like the archer quite a lot. It's not fancy and shiny, but that's why it doesn't look like a x-mas tree ! He looks solid, like a man I can trust my safety to. Good balance between realistic look and cartoon.
"Human" town can gain much popularity just because of such images.
I also like the rest of concept art pretty much, except for Angel. The "sword" thingy makes me cry. It doesn't even look like a weapon.

I think that this art is very elegant and aesthetically pleasing. However, I am worried that showing this in 3D will be difficult to do with art. I know that in some 3D games in the past used paintings in 3D and when the camera (or view) rotated around the character (in this case archer) It didn't flow instead it looked like somebody flipped the page showing a slightly different picture of the archer at a different angle.
Hopefully Ubisoft isn't considering this. This would be terrible.
