I say Canada cause im Canadian and we just beat the US
not to mention we got our uniforms back from 1920 olympics where the farm team of icelanders won gold. (our first gold in hockey)

Yeah, I like Canada's uniforms. When I tuned in to CBC yesterday, I thought it was the Swedish team because of the gold, but then I realized which team it was. The "Canada" on the back of every player kinda gave it away.
Oddly enough, the local paper doesn't like the uniforms, and called the "ghastly," right on the front cover!

I didn't like uniforms so much - I prefer seeing our team in the Red and White. Of course, as a Winnipegger seeing vintage jersey was still kinda cool 
Plus i think that team Canada coming out wearing Gold is a nice bit of foreshadowing as to what's to come

I think that it will be a final between canada and Sweden. I think we're showing a good form now, with a lead over the chech (dunno the spelling) with 4 vs 0 
Ooh..The end result was not that fun... 4-3 to Sweden!

Unfortunately, Le Magnifique is still looking for his first point after two games, and a decent amount of ice time (including power plays). At 38, I'm afraid he won't have the same impact as in previous World Cups. But he will definitely be a source of inspiration for his teammates, and I'm sure he'll score one of those magic goals sooner or later.

...unless it's a particularly luxurious privy they're trying to win. I definetely wouldn't mind one with internet access. Would come in handy on those days when the cheese turned out to be a week older than I thought it was.

Hey! Don't mock my spelling! I haven't spoken or written much french in the last 10 years, at least you knew what I meant
Besides, it's evident in any interview you read just what it's meant for the players to have an opportunity to play with Mario...
Not to mention he has looked really good I think, I'm a bit surprised at how physical he's played!
*looks for a spell-checker this time since I didn't know I was being graded *
Just watched the Russia vs. USA game and wow! I was really impressed with the Russians! Great game

Well Mr.Lemieux has a point now! And what an assist!! One-handed pass, while battling the Russian with the other Great shot by Sakic too! Richards' and Draper's were also sweet!
Scared the crap outta me seeing Mario get that skate in the side of his head tho
