Right deeds, when someone totally disconnect

Seeems need create another folder and put hthere (With copy-paste), saves that modified last time.

seems AutosaveN if not delete saves will contain in save with one number so hope allwil be OK

I do this, when Hero RAADO disconnects. Hope it will be common way...

Usually i not like demand of reporting loss, when somoene lose saves, but better continue all games...

Also seems We need rules abot "suspicious disco"

I every time gotta screenshot, to prove me not guilt but wanna cnow what clues enough for you???

Player is innocent until proven guilty , Even if proving guilty is impossible.

He-he, clues enough toprove ungillty is for another topic...

Here the case wen someone is disconnected and can't enter later... Until some huge amountof time is pass

Last screenshot can give fev info

If Hero Survive with "many losses" he easily can disco and show screenshot, here his main in right order.

Was good in Homm4 with that. Games under pswd protection, just playyour turn to the end and save. After load IMMIDEATELY sent game to oppopnent

Will be WERY good if you noticed about opponent disco during COmbat...

In some cases even hard to take , who guilty for disco (If not reenter MSN e.t.c.)

I just had an argument with someone(dont wanna mention his name) last night about this ! Unfortunately my provider stopped provinding in the middle of the game, and the net was back two hours later ... My opponent became suspicious about me suiciding and I didn't take screenshots before leaving game because i didn't have any important fight and also I take screenshots very seldom and usually not ask for screenshots... all i did was chaining troops from two towns to main, fighting  some pathetic minos, and taking stable with main ... The big battle I was gonna have next turn !

Fortunately I could prove I was far away from big battle and the argument stopped, but the thing left a bad taste about the whole bussiness to me ! We had an argument before about something... i didn't like the way he acted, and this time he had a bad way of acting too, so I'm just gonna stop playing him. I want fun not LAPD, and so far he ruined 2 games.
I never ask for screenshots, I think its not fair to show your opponent your position, troops and other info in the middle of the game.

So ... in conclusion ... best thing to do is take screenshot when it disconnects , though that doesn't prove too much.
Even better it would be that people trust each other and play a nice game!

PS : Ghast disconnected on me in final battle that he was winning , looool

Since this is kind of on topic and I have been itching to post it, here goes.

Frankly , I am sick and tired of saving with an opponent and then a couple days later, we meet up and BOOM, the other played does not have the save because they somehow lost it. This HAS happened to me to numerous times at this point and is now starting to get annoying. It is YOUR responsibility to hold on to the save, not mine. Even after sending my save to the opponent, it doesn't work half the time, so what then? I get a message saying, Oh Well, want to start a new game? Of course, I either politely decline or accept, but you know what I'm really thinking? You lost the save? Too bad, then you lose. In fact, I shouldn’t even have to send you my save, it’s YOUR fault, so suck it up and report a loss. Maybe next time, you’ll hold on to your save.

Just wondering since this has never happened to me (in homm5), how many times it happened and what was the reason given for saves gone since only reason i can think of is format pc.

Of course the guy who looses his save looses the match! That's prettey obvious.
About screenshots... it's best to make them just in case, but show them to opponent only after game ends, that way you are not revealing any information to him during the game.

These are examples of screenshots I took when I got disconnected from Cycleguy yesterday. As you can see they clearly show I did not suicide or anything similar. So I think taking screenshots just in case is a good idea.

Well I played a few mp games now... several games with a few d/c...
I've never maked screenshots but I may begin with that after this "tread"  (I've always trusted my opponent so why should I ask for prouve for his innocence.....)
Then again there may be a few players out there who may click "quit to desktop" and then hope for a reload..... and sure they will get one np....

Me in the other hand... I done mistakes..... several...
But I remember 2 very well...
1'st was against Ghasteater on Sub/tres...... I was attacking to many "Familiars" I screw up told him what I did and he was willing to reload.... "ture honor" !!
The other time was against Betruger..... did similar thing....
(was my first atempt on that map (Dragons Cape) He was willing to reload..... "true honor 2 "    Well ppl would say you should'nt attack bla bla bla..... but I did...
If I had clicked the quit button in a game.... and then relaod... did another turn in the round... and finally won the game.... wow what a great "taste" I would get afterwards

So here is what You should do: If U srew up tell your opponent... then cone to an agreement......

In any case..I think its a good practice to ask for screenshot though especially after a long turn and disconnect.
What happened for me yesterday was in dead mans lake, opponent with deleb d/c after 30 min turn in week 3 day 5, i don't understand what fight could take deleb 30 min in dml except the spectrals near utopia
So i feel abit suspicious and asked for screenshot, but opponent said power shut down can't take screenshot and we had a long discussion what to do in game since utopia is obviously game breaker in dml especially we're playing heroic.
Anyways we decided to continue that game as per normal.

Well I've battles with d/c after looooong turns too...
Agree I get a little suspicious, but then again folks...
look @ the Title of our game "Tournament of Honor"

so why ¿"cheat"¿ at all!!!! wake up ppl.....

we can put the blame on just about everything just not myself...
"the game" froze.... computer stops........ d/c from internett... sure all of this are good reasons... but hey..... if that happends several times in a row... (and always after loooong turns...)
then.... well I don't believe that the reason is one of the listed above....

* Just my feeling *
So far I've got no problems with my opponents from my point of view they have been more or less honorable!
(thats why I love to play H5 at ToH, nice way to spend hours of playing...... Read my signature

Yes ur right Fiur, but only in that case. I would agree on some rules in d/c situations, like if someone d/c few times (like 1-2or 3) in a game, he has to admit he lost, or he has to admit he cant play that day!-cose bad conection.
These are all situations, any other could be suspicious.
We need a RULE in this d/c situations !

Well, this i find kinda weird. When I experience disconnects in my games, both players get the same message, so which of us has "Disconnected" then? I get "Fiur has disconnected" and he gets "Fraudatio has disconnected". How on earth are we to know who to blame? To make rules about how many discs that are allowed seems like plain stupidity to me - you cant make rules about these things, but you can play with honour. If there are too many disconnects, well then save and have a go antoher time.

I think it has much to do with chosing your opponent this. I have played some games now, and I havent experienced "suspicious" things from any of the well known names that I have played, and rarely from any less known players either. If you experience strange things, finish the game and start playing others. Same if you are playing players that you find have too long, to fast turns etc.

There are 98% honourable players, that is my experience anyway.

Frankly report a lose cuz of few (or dozens or thousands or whatever) disconnects is about the stupidest thing i've ever heard .
I think people having so many d/c have a higher chance of something really wrong then a 1 time thing , In any way do you really mind so much about points you wanna get them even if you don't really deserve them ?

And no toh been around long time and rules about d/c never existed and never will cuz every time its something new you can never prove it any way so stomech it and give your opponent the respect he deserve if he's cheating thats his problem cheaters will get cought eventually.
