Mark, not being very found of tree climbing, had only been standing around at it's foot keeping watch so that the party would not fall to any ambush or surprise attack. While holding watch he heard weird noises coming from above him and he decided to ask the two who had climbed up the tree "Have you guys found anything? What is all the noise?" and just after having shouted that he saw a man like silluete approaching, "HALT!" Mark shouted and readied his axe "WHO GOES THERE!" The creature did not seem to stop and Mark was now able to see that it was one of the green skinned creatures some of his companions had been "What did they call them again?...Gretchling?"

Jack yanks down on the last vine; directly overhead comes a roar like a flushing toilet. Gravity swiftly reverses itself; the tree is now hanging from the ceiling and everyone begins to fall to what is now the ground—but Jack still has hold of the vine. The force of the fall is enough to pull it again, and the gender-swapped pirate has just enough piece of mind to let go this time. The tree returns to the ground, and Jack and Rikku tumble out of it alongside a shower of debris—bottles, birdcages, jugs, what looks like a purse—landing with minor damage from the fall. ((- 4 HP each.)) A few of the little light creatures skitter out of the chamber as fast as they can fly, startled, while a few more are rolling around in midair.
((Underhill, Dr. Doom, Abbadon, and Kamahl. 10:30AM))
At Abbadon’s touch, the panel slides away, revealing a small cache of treasure.
((+72 gold, 1 Turquoise (.5 kran), 1 Quartz (2.7 kran), 1 Copper Ring, 2 vials of Fae Dust. Let me know who gets what.))

I looked at my newfound companions who I was with before the split of the party, I lifted my hand and said hi. I also dropped the club i had been carrying around, but I still had a stone in my other hand just in case.
Jack and Rikku seemed a minor bit pale, going from the debris they had suffered some weird fall along with it. Mark looked rather ok, I think he shouted something earlier. "Mark my extremely bearded buddy! What happened here?" I look at the other too, and then said: "It is quite regretable, but I think Brock and Glenn is dead. We shrieking beautiful women with bird feets came at us, it was moving at a insane speed for this world! Its hit Brock, and he flews and crumbled a doorway before continuing flying out of sight, he is likely dead by the damage of hitting something. The creature then after some slashing got stuck in Glenns chainmail, rolled trough a arch and destroyed its pillars in the process. The debris made the way impassable. So likely Glenn was ripped apart piece from piece of this monster. Before I forget: The dangerous creature appeared from a ripple in the air, we should look out we encounter more, we don't want more bloody deaths do we?" I smiled at them.

Stumbling back up onto his feets to the best of his ability, Mark looked at the green skin who he now recognised as one of his companions, the one with the weird eyes. The gretchling, goblin or whatever they liked to call themselves asked about what had happened.
"I wish I knew myself...Rikudo was it? But my job was simply keeping watch while these other two climbed up into the tree and started making a lot of noise." Mark replied and took a new look around the room and was awe-struck "Amazing~" Mark whispered "I bet even Archsage Athos would have a very hard time making a spell that reverses gravity!" Mark took a few seconds to snap out of it and now took a look around to look for anything interesting. Then Rikudo's words sunk into him "The halfling is dead? And that other guy as well?" He asked saddened "May Saint Elimine watch over their souls and make sure they get back to their own worlds."

- A nice reward for our efforts.- Abaddon smiled, and divided the gold into three piles of 24 coins each.- Ok then, the gold is divided fairly I think. The other loot is two gems, a ring and two vials with strange powder in them. Take your pick.

Abaddon picks up the blueish gem and places it in the bag.
- Ok, now that the loot is divided, I suggest we continue with our search then. The quicker we find the child the quicker we get out of here.

Doom reads the engraving on the pillar.
"Knowledge flows forever, but understanding comes only once... What kind of a foolish riddle is that? We don't have time for this."
He leans on the pillar and looks around trying to find any other clues.

Doom’s search—or perhaps it was the comment?—triggers a brief sequence across the gazebo’s ceiling. At first it shows a large tree bedecked with cages, bottles, and other containers, then it shifts to a bit of vine with a medallion tied to the end, and finally shows a scene with a little girl—the chamber pictured is similar to the one the three of you are in, though obviously a different one: it looks to be smaller, and has a moss-covered circle of stones in place of the odd vegetation and the river of wine. The little girl is huddled up against one of the stones, covered in swamp muck and crying. The magical Powerpoint presentation then ends.

After landing on the ground, Rikku looks up, only to see one of the cages falling right towards 'his' head. With all the abilities this new form could put forth, Rikku moves out of the way, hearing a loud crash behind.
"Okay. The hourglass thing is dangerous. I recommend we only use that one if we need to."
Rikku then notices that one of the others made it to them.
"Hello. Was the way you went no good?"

Mark responded to Tidus' question "And with that, my fears were comfirmed, there IS a monster in this place. Anyway, what happened at your end? Why did the room turn upside down? And what was that hourglass you mentioned?" Mark asked

"That was an interesting light show... I assume that the girl we just saw is the child you are looking for for some reason? It is fairly obvious that the vine with the medallion is the key and that we need to find that strange tree first. I suggest we do another quick check of this room for possible exits and then head back to see if the other teams returned yet."

Rikku thinks back to who went with Rikudo.
"So, that one guy...I forgot his name and...Glenn? The small leader is dead? Oh.... That's sad."
Rikku frown at the thought.
"Well," Rikku begins again, looking up to the tree. "We found some vines with things on them, each making some weird noises after we pulled them, and then the hourglass one turned the place over. Seemed like it flipped the room, as one does with an hourglass."

The three of you search for more exits, but it seems the only way out is the way you came in. That being the case, you leave the chamber and make your ways back to the foggy tunnels where the group originally split up. It seems the others have yet to return.

((Well, I did say Mark looked around to see if he saw something unusual or strange or something a while back((atleast I mean to remember that I did)) so a nudge would be good.))
"Yes, the...halfling named Glenn died." Mark said, finding it surprising that the word 'halfling' popped up into his mind as he tried to figure out what to call Glenn.
"An hourglass then, huh? No sign of the child then, I guess...Anyway, look around and see if you can find clues."
Mark then took another look around, in search for anything that might be interesting for the group to check out.
((Actually no I never stated that Mark did look around us. Sorry, I just meant to say it. Ohh and anything 'interesting' means literary anything. From potential exits, to cracks in the wall, to ruble that just seem somewhat out of place or which looks a bit stranger than the rest.))
