Take a look at this! Battles revealed
On Saturday I was kind of bored. I was playing H3, totally dominating the random maps, when I thought about all of the Lvl7 creatures. I thought about the arguments that have happened about who would win and who would lose so I did some testing and research. The results I have are amazing. I set up in the map editor one hero with one lvl7 creature and another hero with a different lvl7 creature. Both heroes had the same stats, only 1 lvl7 creature, no spellbooks or secondary skills, and held both the Hourglass of the Evil Hour and Spirit of Oppression (just to make sure there were no morale or luck bonuses). The heroes both had 2 At/Df and 0 Know./SP. No war Machines were available or used. I set up all the different combinations of the lvl7 creatures battling (except for against each other) and here are the results. Also you Titan lovers, I am sorry to say that the Titan lost a few because they hit the low end of their damage range a lot.
Level 7 Creature / Wins / Losses
Arch Angel / 5 / 2
Gold Dragon / 2 / 5
Titan / 3 / 4
Arch Devil / 5 / 2
Ghost Dragon / 3 / 4
Black Dragon / 4 / 3
Anciet Behemoth / 7 / 0 (WOOT go AB!)
Chaos Hydra / 0 / 7
Everyone lost to the AB's. I do love the AB's and I was glad to see them win, and to let everyone know, this was not rigged! It was true and honest! The AA's lost against AB and Black Dragon. Gold Dragon beat Titans and CH. Titan lost to AA,AB,Gold Dragon and AD. Ghost Dragon beat Gold Dragon, Black Dragon, and Chaos Hydra. AD lost to AA and AB. Black Dragon lost to AB, Ghost Dragon, and AD. AB beat everyone. Chaos Hydra lost to everyone.

Did you use auto combat or command both to the fullest of your skills?

Ghost dragon won?! No surprise about the Hydras, they're better against multiple units, but I thought the Ghosties stunk. Anyway, next time wait a "week" and take the creature growth in one week against the other creature's growths in one week.

What did u do, that the Ghostdragons won against the Black dragons????
Look at the stats:
blackdragon: a/d = 25/25, dam = 40-50, hp=300
ghostdragon: a/d = 19/17, dam = 25-50, hp=200
The blackies are immun to "aging" and were faster, so how on earth could the ghosties win this fight????
Would be interesting how the fights were arranged, coz some of the results are unbelievable in my eyes...

LOL ok, I did it myself to the fullest yes. And to tell the truth I don't know angelito  . I did it and the stats were the same so you got me, but I saw it lol.
Oh wow... I am sooo sorry. CORRECTION Ghost Dragon had 2 wins and 5 losses. I am sorry. I was kind of rushing my notes and it got really messed up. The Ghost Dragons lost to Black Dragons. After looking at my notes I have to correct this. But I assure you all, the rest is correct

Those Ghost Dragons depend on luck. Not Luck in the game but just luck. They are more powerful when the aging kicks in. Maybe you should run some more tests with them.

Tell me about it. I think there is a 20% chance for it to work and of all of my necro playing I have seen it maybe,possibly 5 times ever.
@Dingo what tests would you like me to run? I would be happy to do it.
@Everyone If anyone has ANY tests they would like to try, I would be more than happy to run them. It will give me a part-time hobby .

I knew AB are the best!!! That's why i choose stronghold. But I have whitnesed a fight where 1 AD kicks the helll out of 1 AA

Hmm... I'm not THAT suprised. I always knew that Ancient Behemots kicks ass! And Ghosties ARE powerful, if they're lucky.

@Doom WOW AA's have always kicked AD's butt. The AD must have had a really really high At and AA musta had a really really low Df.

if autocombat is on, then the AB will win everyone.
but if u r a human player, u can easily win the AB with arch devil with waiting 1 turn, the AB gets closer, and u have 2 turns without retalation..
about the AA.. hes good yes but i dont think he has a chance against the AB's 80% defense reduction..

You are saying that AB's couldn't beat AA's. You are wrong there sorry. The angels were doing about 60-70 damage while the behemoth rocked them with approx. 70-80. AB's could have easily won those fights because it was sheer brute force and ability only, and that is what the AB's have.

But now, KingofMinotaurs, try the same test with 10 of each creature.
I bet the results will be different.....much more different..

But doesn't AA have higher Att. and Def. then AB. How can AB do more damage than AA?

well now, I believe we can agree on that . Would you like for me to do it? As for your question Jok3r, because of the AB's special ability (80% defense reduction) they can easily do more damage

Some of those results don't seem right to me. I tried a few and found that a titan and AA wins a AB (though the AB also won the AA a few times). Also a gold dragon won against a BD and Ghost Dragon.

well like i said, the titan's kept hitting on the short end of the damage range...maybe I should have done out of 3 or 5. But To the best of my knowledge a BD will always kill a Gold Dragon.

Do it with one week's growth instead of 1-on-1. That will balance it; for example, GDs aren't very good on their own without being lucky, but you get a lot of them.
