okay, lets try to explain the garden to a few of you.Sir_stiven,Haile73,2extremetotake. The three of you seem to not understand that bad atitudes,disrespect, or any other ill feelings are not for this thread. You are all welcome here,If you be nice. If not, I will ask the mods to start deleting you as you post.This is a place to talk to friends not adversaries, GET IT! And to top it off, you are attacking two of my friends, Thats also not allowed.I extend my hand in friendship to all of you, What you do with it is up to you.

Is this a place of love, light, and happiness? Or a place of honesty?
If the former, here's a little something to improve the atmosphere  :
{edit: argh. It's too late to articulate well why I put happiness and honesty in opposition...basically, are you only looking for certain kinds of honesty? a la "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"? and is it really honest if the opposing view is excluded? and are these questions too serious for this light-hearted thread? and isn't that rose cute? }

somewhat confused
inside us all, there lays things we can know within ourselves. sometimes the honesty is related to happy, but theres the other honesty aswell. I am just glad to know the truth I hold.

No, don't correct yourself.
Honesty is not always on the same page as love. Sometimes being honest means you have to hurt someone's feelings. In life, that's a risk we all have to take and accept. Interestingly enough though, many find that they(myself being no exception) don't want to accept what is true.
Look at us all here using avatars and fictional names. That isn't who we really are. My avatar, even though my it's me, isn't really what I look like anymore. No, I say life is hard. Sometimes, when the truth hurts, we look for comfort in a myth, a story, a tale of when good ruled the day and evil was defeated. It's all subjective ofcourse but I say the honest truth is what it is. Let it be, whether we like it or not.
As for myself, I won't hold back the truth. I am an honest person and thus I post directly so. If my life is defined by my family, my written works, my friends, my experiences, and a few post made in an online chat room then I choose to remain true to who I am. The truth can only be that which compels me to remember that I will always be me and no one else.
Honesty and truth, I feel, can be a choice. I ask everyone to react to me in no less a fashion that would take away from who they truly are. For if they did, then I would surely be dealing with a coward, afraid of themselves and the honest truth.

I think some of you are taking this forum a bit too seriusly. For me its just a fun place to come and chat (or should i say "forum") about things. Some could be serius while other just a chit-chat. I dont hate anyone here nor do i love anyone.....for how lame it may sound, i dont waste my emotions in the internet forums.

Consis, I know. My questions were for redhawk, who planted this lovely garden. In hindsight, if this place is intended for comraderie, perhaps it should be transplanted to the Tavern. Here, it has attracted all kinds of honesty, both nice and brutal. Then again, the garden may be here because the posters here need it(?).
In the meantime, I had some sunshine but seem to have misplaced it (it is nearly two am, after all). I'll post it when it shows up again.

of course I was kidding. I thought the irony of putting a threat (followed by a smiley) into a thread called "Don't be hating" was kinda obvious. However, it's always good to stop any upcoming personal agressions, so I think you were doing a good mod job there. Still I don't regret having made that post, humour means crossing certain lines sometimes ;-)
Deleted that post now though, it looked a bit... raped, lol.

how you deserved it? Well, God has appeared to me in a vision, asking me to avenge him for what you've been writing about him in the other thread. Furthermore (like me), he doesn't like ppl who write poems for other ppl's wives. He even says there's a commandment against it. I wouldn't know, lol. So let the following sentence be a self-defining moment for you: don't mess with the lord, he's got his servants everywhere (!)
[on a more serious note: take it easy, man. I find your style of posting amusing, and therefore I'm gonna pull your leg every now and then. Get used to it! ;-)]

Khaelo, this is my special place for friends, and was ment to be here for the exact reasons that you suggested. Friends are cruel to each other sometimes and honesty hurts.Having said that,this is A place of frindship love and understanding for each other,were everything is warm, friendly and nice.Friends talking to friends,without rude interferance from others. I am glad that you came to my garden, it is my hope that wolfman and yourself will see the true meaning of this place and help to preserve its purity. By the way, Your on my list as well.xoxoxo

If honeslty, I do not have many people to talk here, in HC, mainly because I'm not in offtopic (I mean non Homm) disscusion. However there are few members, that I enjoy talking to. Especialy - Val, Medusa, Rms and The_Hydra.
You can allways find what to talk about with these people.
Edit: (ok ok...) And some other nice people I sometimes chat with.

In this friendly manner i would appreciate if you in the future always spelled Stiven with a capitol S.
And it wasnt my intention to make a fight out of this, i just responded directly to khayman instead of hiding my comments in some frightend manner.
Thirdly i dont like that you scream to haile and 2extreme, i dont think that is settling this in a friendly manner in this nice little garden where the birds are singing and the flowers are just looking soo great (except over there where svarog is...hmmm...giving them some certain attention ).
At last i think its wrong of you to give just your friends special treatment in this "garden". I thought this was a friendly garden, not a "friendly especially to my friends garden". Because in a real friendly garden all friends should matter the same no matter who they are friends with right? so you can "top that" all you want because to me thats discrimination and also doesnt belong in a friendly garden?
so if your friendship means discriminating and threathing people for speaking their honest mind i will happily decline 
But yet as i do like talking with some people i will stay and help out svarog giving some other flowers "special attention"

I would say SS *insert whatever thing here;] * but thats like, asking for him to reply since he is compelled to argue and sees about everything I could say thats not a direct aggreeement or offtopic as an argument. I'm not hating, I'm hated. At least, I think I am.
I think that I'm pretty annoying to others and the others think I'm some kind of a little weenie, 'coz somebody think I can't be like them, even if I'm younger.

I think I shouldn't be weakened or called "little and know-nothing". These words means you are surely hating.

Khaelo, i think it's clear that you have the best interests of this thread at heart - however I am a bit concerned that the smell of dead fish would really hurt the atmosphere here... who wants to visit a garden that smells like dead fish?
I think this thread is a nice idea, I agree that too many people are spending their energies on negativity lately and this garden is a nice change
I have made many friends thanks to this forum, I wouldn't dare try to name em cuz I would undoubtedly forget someone - hopefully those of you I call my friends know who you are, 'cuz if you don't I am a sucky friend
Its sad sometimes seeing friends at odds with each other, and I see that a lot here *sigh*
Some of the people I see called "haters" I see as wonderfully funny friends *TIMMAY*! Wish I knew the way to make some of you guys see them that way.
In any case, its nice to have a place to stop and smell the flowers
