hehe funny dating places rock.
I met my last real ex at a busstop. Me and a friend had been at a friend drinking beer and he got ill so we had to go hehe. And since im not so very good on being quiet i started talking to 2 other persons at the busstop about something i dont remember. But their bus got there ahead of mine. And left was me, my friend and a good looking girl that been sitting there all quiet. And all of a sudden she commented something i had said, so we started talking for a few mins and it turned out we were taking the same bus. She was going to a party and i was going home and my friend was going home to his gf in an opposite direction.
And when we got on the bus she talked me into going to the party with her... and so it all started

DharcNemesis,
If I could humbly suggest something to you... Perhaps another self-criticism for you might be that you are attracted to relationships of distance? It's only a thought and I'm well aware that I really know almost nothing about you in person.
I'm simply speaking from my own perspective. As you said, and I agree, adult men and women have 'needs' - of the physical sort yes? Before getting married I was open to a number of possible dates simply because of their proximity to my domicile. I'm a person that doesn't like to travel much. If you think about it, how much physical love can you share with a person who only visits you on the weekend or once a month? That's out of the question for a person like myself. I need close contact and personal being on more thn a weekend or once a month.

I think I like this thread.
My main flaw is I think of this too much. I have a low self esteem sometimes and I'm always concious of my flaws.
I often regret things said or posted after I write them, even if I think it was clever or funny at the time.
I'm always also concious of my appearance, and how I look to others. This sometimes causes me to hold back from doing some things I want to do or say.
I also get really pissed off really easily, and I'll often hold grudges for a long time. When I do get insulted/annoyed I'll let you know either directly, indirectly or through the way I act towards you.

Con,
I agree somewhat, guess Im more comfortable learning about a person first with talking and such. But in a relationship I need to know other person loves me just by touching or snuggling, that's how I could tell soon to be ex was leaving, he pushed me away.
But I have faith heheh and I smile more I have help on this with my singing cowboy, yes I met him on date site but he only lives an hour away and we've been talking a month. He's adorable and sweet lol and ex wishes I'd date someone my own age cause cowboy is 11 years younger then me. It doesnt matter to me age is a number and we get along great.

Um . . . .
Okay
Human beings need affection. It's plain to me, simple, easy to see, and necessary. Unless you're some kind of alien from another planet, your adult needs will utlimately need to be met by someone you feel comfortable with. Who so ever that might be would still need to be close enough to be readily accessable/available for fullfillment of those needs. As to the age . . . I'm not touching that subject with a ten-foot pole!
It ain't none of my bee's wax!

Daring to involve such a delicate disscusion, may I say( damn I'm so formal today) that reading mostly all your disscusion with Consis got me a few questions:
1.And all this experience about guys, relationships etc you gathered in.. how many years? (I'm asking this, beacuse altough at your profile I can a 33 years old lady, I can't seem to imagine how did you come up to think that you know everything about everything..)
2.Believing that you have that all that experience, i have 2 questions:
a.why on earth girls/women ,mostly, start liking a guy when he already has a girl.To be more explicit, I observed that 90% of the "fan-girls" started liking me after seeing me with another girl...
b.great dilema: why on earth only after I started to have long hair, girls started coming around( and believe me, 3 at a time in general) and till then I could make the waters separate and nothing..
Ohh, the fact with the 2nd brain isn't a general truth about guys, altough it's a very common thing to meet. Also, the opposite it's true and not rarely seen..

Ok answer 1 question at a time...I trained for years to become an FBI profiler, hence I watch and study people's behavior. Want honest I've had 102 relationships of all sorts.
Quote: 2.Believing that you have that all that experience, i have 2 questions:

For some girls you became "the challenge" an unattainable male that certain types of girls find a challenge to break or make that male cheat on whomever they are with. Women can be just as visious as men they are just sneakier about it. They use things like emotional leavage, cry on your shoulder etc so you sympathsis with them and get closer to them until before you know it you've somehow fallin for them.
Quote: b.great dilema: why on earth only after I started to have long hair, girls started coming around( and believe me, 3 at a time in general) and till then I could make the waters separate and nothing..
2 reason2 A. Guys with long hair are seen in a woman's eyes are more feminine and understanding of a woman and B. the images women have seen growing up in romance books, movies etc have been images of pirates, your average bad boy, etc are portrayed as bad to the bone, dangerous and sexy and usually have alot of hair.
Ok nerd mode off now, if any of you pick on me about this I'll beat you, yes Im a geek and proud of it.

Terje: You need to stop yelling at your dog, you sick ****!
Those other flaws are perfectly normal.
My list:
1. Lazy
2. No empathy
3. (Too?) stoic - someone mentioned not having cried for a year or two. I haven't cried in at least ten.
4. Shallow (when it comes to girls) - if there's no chemistry, I won't give you the time of day.
5. Arrogant, patronizing.
6. Impatient
7. Prejudiced (although, seeing as I'm aware that my prejudices are just that, and seeing as most of them turn out true, I'm not really sure this is a bad thing.)
8. Driven by lust
9. Judgmental (especially of others)
10. Rarely satisfied with what I have
11. Spend too much time thinking of times gone by and times to come
12. I start things, but do not finish...
That's it, I'll finish this list some other time

I know exactly what you mean, although I manage to cry every once in a great while. There's a lot of bad stuff going on and I've been finding it incredibly difficult to endure through these trying times without shedding tears. And I really can't most of the time; it's like I want to but I don't feel moved enough to. In fact, I only tend to cry when I dream sad dreams at night, but virtually nothing during the daytime. It's pathetic and quite painful not being able to release all my troubles with a few tears. Crying is wonderful; it's one of best feelings in the world.
"I'll Take The Rain" is my favorite song ever, and I find it metaphorically appropriate on the topic of crying. It's a very sad song as well, and almost equally sad that I'm not moved enough to cry when I listen to it.

I think another fault i have is i am too forgiving.
I didnt realise it till yesterday that I was willing to forgive & forget all that happened with someone.
Then i sat back & realized that she hurt me too much but I was still willing to.
I need to tell her no I wont even be friends with you because of what you done but man I hate to make people miserable, even if they did with me in the most horrific way.
I talked to Zeldas alot of times & sometimes I feel like I am doing so right but it does turn out I was doing wrong like example.
I give someone money & I dont even know them b ut i want to help but sometimes it's not the best choice to make even if you think your doing right.
Or if you try to help people in thier real life & you think your doing somethang so right but it turns out so wrong.
Like With Leo & Jebus, I tought I could help out but it turned out i might of made it worst.
I guess I need to learn that being generous sometimes dont have it's benefits.
SOmetimes when you help people it dont turn out the way you expect it & it can become worst.
WHen you cant stop loving a person, sometimes you just got to end it all or you wont get over it.

sometimes (and especially online) beeing generous can simply mean an open mind and an available ear...
.. it can make all the difference to a person.

A new not-so-new one...
I take way too long writing papers for school. I'll sit staring at a blank Microsoft Word totally stumped about how to go about the intro paragraph. Then there's the thesis statement, which leads into the first body paragraph, which requires a decent topic sentence, which I haven't gotten to yet because my page is still blank...
