I think that the current mod squad needs a restructuring. We have a lot of inactive mods on a forum where their presence is probably needed on a daily basis. For example, the two places that have seen some recent activity, the Coliseum and the Library, are completely cut off from mod support because the ones in charge of those sections are inactive. And it's not only them, there are more that are inactive but their absence is usually compensated by some other mod. Still it strikes me a bit odd that this situation is allowed to persist. Like, there should be a rule for inactivity that makes one lose mod status. We can't afford having entire sections deprived of mod support right? Like, the Coliseum even has the ICTC which is being advertised but no active mod? That's a bit absurd.
So please Valeriy, either replace them with some active mod or find someone else and put them in charge.

I would agree these could use another mod appointed. Angelito drops by very seldomly and Mytical was having some serious health problems, and hasn't been heard from in quite a long time.

Oh right, while I'm rather active in the Library in my own opinion.. I don't really follow that particular thread. It's a lot to read so I hope you forgive me if I trust you on your word and don't go through it.

MightyMage, another one of the old ones, has handed in his mod sword and became a normal member again after over a decade of service to the Mod Squad of HC.
Much appreciations, MightyMage  Even though we've had our disagreements about which one of us is mightier, I can only appreciate the contribution and character that you've brought to HC Most notably your years of moderator service in the Glade, how you kept things fun and silly in our highly stressful job, and your being instrumental in our epic HC April Fools pranks.
For the newcomers who don't know, we did some epic April pranks that got a few members really worked up  And when members started expecting our pranks we made the pranks so complex that it was hard to figure out what was real and what wasn't and the fun continued  Well, I won't elaborate too much on our strategies in case we want to do it again in the future 
Anyway, do continue visiting us as a member and always know that you left a permanent mark of fun and silliness on HC  I hand you a platter of our finest donuts and it's time to pimp your profile with some shinies of appreciation +

HC suddenly became a lot less cool. Despite his lovable antics, MM was a genuinely interesting guy to have around and it's a shame he doesn't have much time for HC nowadays. Well, till next time

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'll try to stop by when I can. Real Life is taking higher priority right now which gives me less time to visit HC. If I continued to be a Mod, I knew I wouldn't be able to give it 100%.
I'll continue to support HC from the sidelines and am thankful to Val for creating such an awesome site for all the nerds that love HoMM.
Members, respect your Mods. They deserve at least that. They all have real lives too and then on top of that they volunteer time here.
Stay frosty (or whatever you kids say now) and I'll see ya when I see ya.

Only on april fools. It's already near extinction, so technically I didn't wipe it out... And no, I didn't come here again, but damn, I couldn't waste the chance to say that. Boo! Squid.
On a more serious note: When you are free, you should come and take your shield again... April fools, maybe?
