From a de-jure perspective the mods' aren't there to serve the community though, they're there to uphold the CoC.

Yesterday, it actually dawned on me that you are frostysh are pretty much the same, at the core. You both reject the common social framework that we as a human race have constructed and built (and still adapt and change gradually) to help keep structure and order, when it doesn't suit your personal needs or views. At best, you are intolerant towards others who think or act differently, at worst you show utter disrespect. You just go about showing it in different ways from one another.
To add insult to that injury, both of you also seem to have a tendency of playing the victim card, blaming all the people that you butt heads with for causing the problems you're experiencing. The irony of it all is that both of you have written more than once about feelings of loneliness, social rejection and lack of reallife friends, while you either don't want to see or are incapable of seeing (I don't know which, to be honest) that these are demons of your own making, not of the people you're dealing with or the social network you're interacting with.
We, as mod squad, have to maintain a form of social order and stability on these forums as dictated by the rules layed out a while ago by Valeriy; they form the foundation of the way social action on these forums is expected, desired and upheld. When you signed up here, you agreed and subscribed to those rules. Both you and frostysh have shown tendencies to undermine those rules and regulations, however and both of you have been penalised for transgressions in the past.
While I honestly admire your titanic graphics work for Heroes 3 and have a great respect for your tenacity in it (although, truth be said, also worries about the mental aspect of it), it doesn't give you a free ticket to just cross the lines that have been detailed in the CoC. Violate the rules, suffer the penalty; no one is above them.

Law is law. I also wish certain things to be gone (like floodprotect), but that doesn't mean that I have to make scenes all the time about it.

I don't think anyone wants you gone fred, you are fun, you enjoy the community and you have things to talk about. But we can probably all agree that your latest topic was on the graphic side, just as I'm sure we can agree that there was no ill intent behind it. It is none of my business to tell you how to feel about it but eh crap happens. Keep calm and be awesome?
On the matter of the tavern and vw, I wholeheartedly agree that a more dedicated effort would benefit the forum. Toasting junk threads, promoting good ones and so on. I'd like to see it happen and I believe that Tsar would do it justice.
The modder's workshop and headline items could use some attention too. There are worthwhile news and topics to promote, especially now that we are in the series twilight.

having regular members dislike you is one thing; i can deal with that(i have proved that many times, i think). but having mods dislike you and using their power against you(especially provokingly comparing you to a troll that you and many other forum members have been railing against and being able to get away with it because "mod status"; which, by the way maurice, i saw coming 2 days ago. it's sad that i can expect such underhanded and outright bullsnow from a mod), is a tad too much. if they want me to fall in line, then they better be getting EVERYONE to fall in line, or NO ONE at all. that the mods choose to go after me instead of someone who outright provokes people for inexplicable reasons repeatedly and unrepentantly, and clearly against the community at large, is snowing retarded. these petty little rivalries have become far too old. i had to deal with that from cor before(but cor admitted it at the time, there is that), and now i'm dealing with it from maurice. in the future, i'm sure i'd have to deal with it from kiryu, once he found a way to not make his disdain for me so painfully obvious. or maybe not, who knows. all i know, is that i don't have to stick around for it. like i said, it's tiring. i've put a lot into hc, and a lot into attempting to explain myself; only to have it fall on many deaf ears.
hey, at least after i'm gone, the group of sjw's will come back and they'll all take over this place. there's that to look forward to. and they'll have a mod representing them. lol. you guys have fun with that, because that's the direction hc is headed. you mark my words. i've seen it happen to 4chan, of all places. and if they can infiltrate the snow of the internet, they'll snowing steam-roll hc. count on it.

i know. i was just about to post a public-service message that would encourage the mods to ban me, but then i realized that the wording could just as easily be used against me in argument. so i deleted it. there's really no point in arguing anyway, because i'm not reaching anyone i'm trying to reach. those with eyes and a functioning brain already know what i'm on about, anyway.
i just hope fred80'll be able to handle it. he has his work cut out for him.

meanwhile admins (or whoever is in charge at the moment I dunno lol) I personally think you should create a Creature Quest forum and make Galaad the moderator, that is the only thing anchoring the forum at the moment ever since Ubisaft and Erwin flunked out of the industry lol
