Idea!!
Yes, I'm back! Dwarves should stay in Rampart. Their cousins, Gnomes should go to Polaris. Their third upgrade should not be a unit, but rather just an addition to the place where you recruit them. Gnomes are inventors, and this addition will make war machines. Lots of them. Gnomes should attack with some crazy invention. Tell me what you think.

agree...
I agree with Cyric.
For one team to be able to recruit Azure dragons as their level 7 creature would make them way too strong and practically unbeatable. They would have to be weakened heapz, but that would make the Azure dragon unit totally suck!!
They should stay a wandering creature...

yeah gnomes are a good idea. so u have any idea about what they would do? what crazzzy inventions do they use? I do like the idea of the ice town but everyone seems to want to grab units from other towns which u cant do unless u plan to replace them with something. There seems to be too much lets grab the wolves from here add a sprinkle of dwarfs and garnish with some behemoths! Think up more new ideas like the gnomes rather than taking from other towns.

IN THIS CASTLE, THEY SHOULD HAVE WHITE WOLVES, OR SLEDDERS DOGS, AD PROBABLY SLEDDERS THEMSELVES IN THE CASTLE, BUT THIS CSTLE IS A GOOD IDEA

Sounds ridiculous
Sledder dogs??How about Santa Cluaus in his reindeer sleigh and St Bernards?Pardon me for saying this,but I feel that Heroes is not a zoo.I prefer seeing more fantasy creatures instead.

Sorry to drag u guys away from the Gnome thing.
But about ICE CASTLE. (Or the idea of cold). Tower is already a snow castle, I think 3do wont make another cold castle. besides having a cold type castle in the middle of lava land, ??? well u know what will happen.
So, I think u should make it to do with crystal, since it still works with Golem and other stuffs. And a bit away from a direct similar castle to tower. and for lvl 7 instead of azure, u could have Crystal Dra, which is more even.
And for creatures, having Ice Withches, I dont like it, dont like having "Fortress" heroes become creatures. or having small witches fighting big witches. And there is other stuffs like Shiva, Wrog, Paladin, Salamander, Werewolf, Death, Wyren, etc.

Who said that the polaris will be on the lava? maybe they should even make it that a fortress town could only be put on swamp and polaris only on snow. As for the azure drags, they should be the lvl.7 because they live in frozen cliffs, and what exactly did u mean when u talked about withches. I think the heroes should be Shaman and Viking.

U know a guy talked about ice witches and with witches fro creatures, I was thinking having them fight fortress heroes, witches. which is witches to witches...
and by the way fortress is not only make out of one element. U are talking haveing a castle made only from ice. or that is as far as I get from the messages.
And I said, I cant and dont want to see a Ice castle on Lava. I did not SAY have them 100% ON LAVA.

Frost giants of Vori
I think that 3do has alreday an idea about an Ice town.In mm8 the minotaurs had just been defeated by a race called Vori - frost giants.In hmm3 in the tavern there is a rumor telling smothing about Vori but i can't remeber what was it.So that's what i suppose.

Idea!!
The Gnomes weapon should be a cart that they push. on top of the cart would be a barrel full of experimental gun powder. When they run it into another unit it would cause an explosion.

Just like in warcraft! Grrrrrrr why do people seem to want to take ideas from other games all the time! If its not Age of Empires its Warcraft2 or diablo2!!!!!!! To me Heroes has done a great job with its last three games i dont know why it should or would resort to stealing ideas!

Gnomes -> Alchemists should be lvl.1
the gnomes should have shotguns and the alchemists should have some mini-grenades (not technological), just filled with gunpowder or something (if u think thats too technological, then think about the landmine spell)

gunpowder was expiremental in mideval times, so it should be expirimental in this game. I like the barrel idea better.

Don't forget that gnomes should be shooters, Polaris lacks shooters. With the barrel thing they might explode themselves and they would have a very small supply of them, I still stick with the Arquebuses and Grenades, in some game, called Rival Realms, there were gnome arquebusiers.

shooters
ettins and natives are already shoters. hey wouldent it be cool to have a spell that when you use it the ice cracks on the battle field or a water creature freezes when its on ice for too long like 5 days.

So most of the creatures have been worked out for this town but whose thought of a background to it so it can fit in with heroes4. And what kind of town is it, another good one?? or is it a town that wants to freeze the world? Whats there reasons for being in Erathia? (invading?)I think these are good things to think about instead of arguing over little details.
