Anyway, Try to recruit medusa (not a queen) and look at her picture in a garrison (or a hero, or a town...). Well, one thing is quite big on there 
Water elementals are also nice, but I think that elementals shouldn't have genders.
BTW: Genies change gender as you upgrade them into masters. That's how they breed, probably.
Think about a goblin female. Speel is broken, isn't it?
BTW2: How many mebers are there below 15?
lol yeah, i remember those medusas totally... similar goes for harpy hags  and for leather fans... tight black bra of naga queen works wonders...
did someone say imagine female goblin? Gretchin is female right? eewww...

if we just on about homm series then i would have to say that from a color blind persons point of view the mutant zombies from homm2 cuz u cant beat the pink monsters 
if m&m as well then the Guardians of Varn from mm6 are the best.

It has to be the Sharpshooters from H3. Very cool. One has to remember, they appeared on the scene before the LotR movies.

The best looking creature is the H1 dragon. really. or not.
Well I would say :
H1 : paladin
H3 : naga, or dwarf, halfling, dragons (except bone and ghost drags)
H5 :  ... maybe Iron Golem. Hard choice here.
I didnt talk about the others heroes as i never played them.

the Wraiths' appearance in HOMM5 is truly riveting.
how awesome is it to have more than one 'Deaths' in your army? 
the Nightmares could look more nightmarish. but they're cool enough.
and Pit Lords do look grander than the Devils themselves.

Well if you think about it the Cerebrus is pretty well designed.
But the coolest one IMO is the Wyvern or the Fairy Dragon.

I think almost all creatures in HOMM2: dragons, phoenix!, crusader, hydra, gargoyle etc...
Black Dragons have always been good-looking (except HoMM1).
As for HOMM5, I`d say all Inferno, especially Pit Lords and Nightmares. Wights/Wraiths, Griffin, Angel, Rakshasha... and some more.

A lot of homm2 creatures look rly awesome, cyclops, dragons, arch magi(o_o might be the one I like most), titans, skeletons, vampires, etc.
Obviously I also like the titans from homm3 ^^

H2 : golden paladin, phoenix, titan, archmage, black dragon, genie.
H5 : paladin, archangel, seraph, frightful nightmare, hellmare, pit lord, pit spawn, elder druid, rune patriarch, magma dragon.
not sure about other games
