Who is the best heroe of HMM3?
I think Sir Mulich is the best with his speed special and with Advanced Leadership he can by very efective.

I would say that Bron (Beastmaster0 is the best, as he starts with 4-7 Basilisks. He is the only hero who starts with lev 4s.

i agree with coldfyrus, bron is probably the best hero, excluding the special heroes of course, sandro is my favourite hero though, he may not be the best but he has always been my favourite

i´d go for sir mullich...
... that speed specialty really means a lot - solmyr is great - and the famous dungeon duo - jeditte and alamar come certainly in top 5 heroes...

I think all heroes with diplomacy are the best. My favorites are Adela with bless and Ciele with magic arrow as no-diplomacy hero.

I think thorgrim is one of the best heroes becuase with his resistance speciality you can become immune from magic at high level and start casting armergeddon and other dangeroes spells without caring. Imagene him against Solmyr, he is the magic hero slayer.

Gelu& Mullich are the greatest, no doubt.
My fav. are Crag Hack, Mephala. Thorgrim could be better, but then you rely on luck. Mephala is much more reliable.
Gunnar, Kyrre, Dessa with logistic-speciality are all great as well as any hero with diplomacy.
Then there are the +350 gold heroes. Very nice for small maps (on high difficulty).

I think that Sir Mullich is the best, although Gelu and Jeddite are behind him.Wizards have two very dangerous heroes, Solmyr and Cyra, but my favourite heroes are Ivor and Loynis.

Crag Hack, Gunnar, Mephala...
Sir Mullich is very good too, and many of the campaign heroes are strong, especially Gelu.

There is no best hero, most have their uses, for example, if I had Solmyr, then the best hero my opponent could have might be Thorgrim or Deemer. Then again if he has Crag, I would wish for Mephala or Tazar. Its nice to hear peoples opinions on the matter, but as for the best, there isnt one.
But there may be a worst  Ufretin? Piquedram? Straker? hehe

My favorite heroes are is Pikedram, Tyraxor and Lorelei. And I`m not being sarcastic. They are the fastest heroes you can buy at the beginning of the game and moreover, Pikedram and Lorelei have scouting which is excellent on 1 on 1 closed maps. Not only Tyraxor is very fast but if he gets caught while scouting he can surrender with all the artefacts he may have because he has tactic...

Favorite Heroes by Town:
Castle: Sir Mullich (speed is good)
Rampart: Jenova (350 gold very useful)
Tower: I have not played Tower since removal of Gremlin Rush, so I don't know.
Fortress: Bron (starts with basilisks!)
Stronghold: Tyraxor (upgrade to wolf raider and have some fun)
Dungeon: Shakti (get huge number of trogs, clear out all low level stacks around your base)
Necropolis: I cna't remember the name, Death Knight with adv. necro. (fun fun fun with necro!)
Inferno: Fiona (specialty in town's best creature for its level)
Conflux: Lacus (can't argue with advanced tactics!)
Best Special Hero: Mutare (get a dungeon and a rampart and have yourself some fun.)

I disagree with that 'cause Piquedram is poorly the worst wizard hero or even in the game. At first he has two really bad skills like scouting and mysticism, although on small maps scouting is somewhat useful. Besides that, he is the only wizard hero who doesn't start with 30-40 gremlins, which is very important on small maps.

They are faster the complete first week, cause the creature speciality will make them faster on the map.

Since the best way not to lose troops is to hit so hard there wont be any retaliation i think crag is the best hero in the game. Besides he gets very good 2nd skills.
In some situations gunnar might be better because of his great speed. He too gets good skills.
