I've always like the Black dragon in HoMM4 (in the battle sequence)
The 3D effect on it's movement (flight especially) was really sweet!!!

I gotta go with either Minotaurs Kings (gotta love the armor and axe  ) or Titans. They're pretty sweet.

Hmm.. I have to say: Homm2 Phoenix. Just really colorful! The one in Homm3 looks ok too but the fire makes it all too blurry.

I agree, but logical or not, it did seem preferential!!

Ok, Sparkle.
From a pure artistic point of view, I think the Cerberus, the Devil, and the Walking Dead are best-looking. Minotaur, Dwarf and Medusa are cool too.
btw, have you noticed how everybody says level 7 crits are the best-looking? imo, many are not objective about graphics, and let gameplay influence their choice.
I believe lamest-looking are the Firebird, Dragon Fly, Imp, Evil Eyes and Fairie Dragon.
