The best looking monster is definately...........The MINOTAUR KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, why not? they´re strong, furious, and have those eyes that say......I´ll getcha punk!!!!!!!

What do you like in the walking dead?!? And isn't the archdevil better-looking?
btw, have you noticed how everybody says level 7 crits are the best-looking? imo, many are not objective about graphics, and let gameplay influence their choice.
Well, i like crystal dragons' look very much but i don't like them in the game(they can't fly) while i don't really love azure dragons as appearance but they are ultra cool in the game.

I agree about Firebirds, Imps and Evil Eyes but i strongly disagree about Dragon Flies and Fairie Dragons. I just love their cute eyes and wings and their rounded body.

Archdevil? Nah! Too kitch with all those accessories.
And the walking dead is simply the best zombie I've seen ever. It limps perfectly, with all those cuts and wounds.

I think it is made this way on purpose. Level 7 are the most expensive creatures in the game, so nwc made sure we weren't paying 4000 gold + some ressources for a drab looking creature!
It may also be the fact that all level 7 creatures are majestic creatures... They are the fantasy in this game. Everybody would die to see a living dragon, angel, phoenix, etc... Not so much about a walking dead

Good observation. While I admit that my favourite creature, aesthetically, is the Arch Devil, I can assure you that the AD is definitely not my favourite creature, gamewise. I think they and their building are overpriced, and they should have more hit points. But, visually, they are extremely detailed, and have the coolest movement in the game.

In Heroes I and II, I always liked the Hydra (specially with its sound, I just loved the sound of its attack).
In HoMMIII, it's the Pegasus for me. Silver one, to be more precise. And again, the Chaos Hydra is a great looking monster too.
In HoMM4, I go for the Vampire. Cool, with a STUNNING attack.
And for HoMM5, from what I've seen so far, I go with the Sprite. If the animation is as good as I hope/think, it will be a very fun and cool creature to watch.

I am in love with all kinds of dragons. In h2, it was bone and three colours. Now, there are so many of them... all beautiful...sweet...mmm...crystal dragons look superior, faerie are cute, azure dragons are majestic, black/red are ebil, gold/green are lawful, rust are chaotic...

Yeah, are we getting a bit dirty 'round here? How about succubus... well, unfortunately, all creatuures have clothes, but I can't imagine a sprite wearing somsthing. Sprites topless...
Anyway, Try to recruit medusa (not a queen) and look at her picture in a garrison (or a hero, or a town...). Well, one thing is quite big on there
Water elementals are also nice, but I think that elementals shouldn't have genders.
BTW: Genies change gender as you upgrade them into masters. That's how they breed, probably.
Think about a goblin female. Speel is broken, isn't it?
BTW2: How many mebers are there below 15?

Have you seen the Death Knights (Abbot's avatar)? The avatar only show the upper part of them. I think they can be best looking creatures too.
