Ghosts Between Us
Ghosts, apparitions, spirits, banshees. Some claim they exist and have seen then, some are adamant these are product of peoople's wild imagination.
The most common concept is that ghosts traditionally dwell in old houses where a lot has happened in the past. Suicide or homicide victims, lost lovers, early deceased children, all of them people already dead and gone, are reported to appear as ghosts. There is another common feature among them as well: usually they are said to have experienced traumatic events in their lifetimes or a personal tragedy. It is said that ghosts exist because they have ended their time on earth before they could complete the deeds they had meant to do while alive.
It is these unfinished deed that keeps the spirits bound to a place, believers say. And while some accept this as an axiom, others dismiss it as pure garbage. After all, has someone recorded a ghost? Is there any real proof - like a photo or a tape? No one has given indisputable evidence of the actual existence of ghosts.
So, again: are there ghosts or not?
I've always been one of those who are sceptic when it gets to ghosts, spirits and the like. What are they, I reason, entities of pure mind and no essense? Well, they might be real, I say, but I don't believe in them. Most of the stories I've read or heard I ascribe to people who miss their relatives, spouses or other lobed ones, all of them people already gone.
Yet, I recently started questioning myself more and more on the topic of ghosts, the spirits of people 'who have passed from my presence but not from my heart'. I see various examples from my very real life that make me think twice. My grandmother became a widow at the age of 34; she's 72 now and never remarried even though if she had wanted to, she would have found another husband. There are no reports that my grandfather appears in the house he inhabited before his death, yet, his presence is palpable. My grandmother's eyes will wet at the fond memories of the times before their engagement; she still keeping her wedding band on her nameless finger. I'm sure grandma sees him again and again in her mind's eye even though he's long passed away.
I often recall the times I've spent with people who came in my life and left a trace on it, but are no longer around me and never will be again. My friends and enemies all left traces in my heart, marks that they've been there and a lot connected us. Past events - they are never come again - affect me now and change the course of my life. So do the participants in them. None of those appear to me like pale shades at night or unlock closed doors at home. However, in trust, the spirits of all of them I feel around me... around people who meant something to me right here, right now. My current relationships - lovers and friends - are determined to a great extend by their predecessor. I may be afraid or reluctant to start another love affair or turn down a plea for help because of other people who I've dealt with in the past - who've passed from my presence, but not from my heart.
No apparitions I see, no banshees, yet when I look around the corner of my mind... are there ghosts... between us.

Yes Actually,
In my opinion of course; I've been very much aware of ghosts. Here's what I think about ghosts/spirits.
I think they exist. I also think they can only be agitated. I think that when a person gets angry, frustrated, or belligerent they become activated by the negative energy in the air. I've also found that they only perform actions on people when they are alone. It's clear to me that ghosts don't break things, turn things on/off, slam doors, etc in front of a group.
My theory is that a ghost/spirit gets the kinetic energy it needs to move an object by a subconscious energy from a person's mind that is exuded during a fearful state. (i.e. when a person is alone and begins to let the mind wander, becomes fearful, and then imagines what might or might not be present) I believe that during this conscious state of mind a subconscious energy, that some people have more control of, is let out and eminates in the near vicinity of the person in this state. I believe the presence of other people cause this energy to be directed to them making it more linear and less chaotic. Picture two people standing next to each other in a room without speaking. I believe there are invisible lines of psychic communication moving back and forth from the people in a straight line. But take one person away and the psychic lines of subconscious energy now eminate outward from the alone person's mind in all directions as if looking for companionship. I believe this energy can be manipulated(sometimes uncontrolled) by a person's subconscious mind to form telekinetic actions(i.e. bend a spoon, etc...).
Anyway the short and skinny of what I believe teaches me to maintain a focused mind when I'm alone else I risk giving the local ghosts/spirits the energy they need to act on their lingering emotions from the time that they died. That's another thing. I believe ghosts/spirits lose their consciousness and capacity to comprehend as they are no longer bound to earthly bodies. They don't normally have any such corporeal essence with which to affect our world, therefore I think we should keep it that way and ought not to give them the means with which to manipulate through their emotional drive. Raw emotions can be quite dangerous even for the living, yes; especially without self control(which I believe the dead have none).
I basically try to keep myself busy and maintain a focused mind when I'm alone(which isn't often with all my kids). I don't want to be bothered by ghosts. I've been bothered before and it rather annoyed me so I tried to be more willing to accept their presence while seeking to keep hold of my privacy of thoughts.

Personal encounters,you cant get a ghost on camera or on video orless it lets you.
Believe in them or not depends on experience & if you have no experience, then theres no point in comments on somethang you wouldnt understand

My parent's have pictures of ghosts that I found rather disturbing. These particular apparitions always appeared around the 31st day of the tenth month in our natural year and had the power to actually communicate with the living!  The scariest part I can remember is when one of them spoke to ME and sang in a ghastly voice, "Trick or Treat! Smell my feet! Give me something good to eat!" I swear I nearly had a heart attack!
