Thank you Khaelo
Khaelo has decided to cease her moderatorship and turn more attention to RL matters.
From myself and the squad, I wish to thank Khaelo for contributing her time and energy into making HC a better place, especially in such a tricky forum as the Other Side of the Monitor.
*ceremoneously waves the wand*
*Khaelo's sword dissolves into thin air, and upon her chest she discovers an array of star shaped badges, with a few additions.

Asmodean and Pandora step in to the Other Side. Both volunteered due to being frequent readers of the forum anyway. Welcome.

As new to this forum as I am I also wish the now deceased mod better luck in the "afterlife" and best of luck in the real world.

Question: Three days ago, Khaelo and Wolfman were mods of Other Side, and no other forums at HC. Was this because that modding Other Side takes more work, as (opinion here) it is one of the more (if not the most) verbose thread, or not?
If so, it doesn't make too much sense to me that Asmo and Pan get the nod, as they are already modding two and three other forums respectively, one of those being the Tavern, one of the most active forums on HC. Would it not make more sense to appoint a regular Other Side contributor (Consis, say) as mod?

The only forum I read consistently is the Other Side (and Tribunal), so that's why it was the only forum I modded. It was a matter of interest rather than work. Dunno about Wolfman.
Rumors of my death are highly exaggerated.  I'm still around as a member.

I could never do a better job than Pandora. And don't forget my opinions. Think about how many people would become enraged if I held the ropes. Remember all those threads I started for certain qp's-deserving posts/threads? Not a single one has received. My first action would be to deliver my own qp's to those. This would instantly piss people off.
Yeah bad idea but thanks for the vote of confidence.

To be frankly honest....
I wish Khaelo was still a Mod.
You guys will probably never know how hard she worked to make this forum the best she could ever make it.
I know for a fact that I could probably never do as good a job as she and Wolfman could ever have done ad Mods, and I hope that everyone rememembers allnthe good things thatbshe and he did to better the Other Sie of the Monitor Forum.
I know that the majority of you will never see the effort that was involved in trying to make this forum bd the best it could be, but I DO believe totally in my heart that Khaelo and Wolfman are 2 of the best Monitors you can have ever!!!!!(apart from me and Pan, that goes without saying!!)
But I wish Khaelo the best and give her one last frosted donut of love.
Now I can finally give you some well deserved QP's in Tavern!!! You'll be 'honourable' before you know it!!

Sad day to see you leave Khaelo, i am very much in agreement with Asmodean here. But in my mind i see you returning one day =)..

Like Asmodean, I can't say enough good about Khaelo and everything she did here, she will be missed in the mod-squad  Hmmm, but maybe if I smuggle her out the occasional donut she might come back one day....
In response to your concerns Sirzapdos, Asmodean and i both read the Otherside anyways, so there is no convern that we don't know the posters or topics here. I personally do not see that our not posting here is a detriment to our ability to mod here, as by not posting we are not representing ourselves to be on one side of any given issue. I do spend as much time reading here as I do in the other three forums that I mod in - and I'm sure Asmodean is the same. In any case, if your concerns about us continue please let us know

In my short time here, I have only seen good things
from Khaelo, formerly cleverly disguised as a mod.
I believe those that say she put a lot of effort
into making things better on this board. May she now
make as big an impact on the board-of-real-life. By
the way, isn't this real life?
