Quote: Are they in the countryside?
They may or may not be. It is not relevant to the plot.
To Leo. No he did not hit dead man.
To dimis. No not inside a tunnel.
Yes. They are related. Not Key question though.

Seems that it took me some time before modifying my previous post. So, I 'll repeat the question:
Are the victim and the jumping guy relatives of any kind?

A long shot which might make you laugh :
The jumping guy had broken (bent) the stick so that when the victim used it to move to open the door of the caravan (guy knocked the door), it did actually break and the victim slipped to death. Of course this one contains surprise since the victim didn't expect the stick to break (perhaps it was brand new, a very tough one, ... I 'll have to look back whether it was wooden or metallic, but in this scenario doesn't really matter). Elder people are always prone on accidents ... Moreover, the guy did not want to enter the caravan so as not to leave fingerprints and due to the fact that he was short, he had to jump to see what actually happened inside the caravan.

For arguments sake we will say that they are cousins, because their exact relationship is no relevant to the plot.

I believe my long shot above was really loooong.
So here is my new question:
Is the stick broken now that the victim is dead?

I mean that the stick was one piece some time before the victim be surprized and now that the victim is dead the stick consists of more than one pieces. This is what I mean broken / cracked (better word I suppose ... sorry for my English ... I am doing the best I can)
edit: Actually, the stick does not have to be more than one piece if it is cracked. At least ... not all of the times.

This is getting real tough. One more question and I 'll go for some sleep.
Will the jumping guy benefit from the victim's death? (i.e. inherit lots of money, ... etc.)
