Hi all, been many years since I've played HoMM on-line. I think my former name was Agincourt, but I don't really remember what site although ToH sounds familiar. Will try to read as much as possible before I start asking questions.
EDIT: OK I must ask...I have Heroes Complete, what is the number signifier for this and what maps are compatible to play on it? Also what versions are compatible that I may play on GameRanger? Does it matter if I am hosting or joining? Very sorry to start in already with the noob questions...

I've actually played all five versions of Heroes of might and magic, just recently started with no 5 and have enjoyed every one.

Hi, Galdimir.
Your English is fine. Be careful with the campaigns with HOMM V and the expansion. Some of the scenarios are a bit buggy and/or finnicky. There are Walkthroughs here, if you get stuck.

Hello, my names Roc. I've been playing Homm III for years now but never outside multiplayer hot-seats or against a computer.
Glad to see that the love of this game hasn't died down in the many years its been out.
I've been figuring out specific tactics for each town and have yet to figure what demon farming is. So can someone point me to the direction of a guide or give me the quick run down? I hate having to pass on Inferno, I think its one of the better looking towns, though it may struggle against some of the more preferred ( and damn is that music fantastic!)

hi everyone, i am a newbie to the game, my fiancee introduced the game to me about a week ago, he has been playing for years, we play it everynight, he is workin on a map now that hopefully we can upload and share with everyone, i tryed downloading some of the great maps on here but my computer aint compatable, i cant even get the game installed onto my computer  ,

Hello guys, I'm Kostolomac.
One of the first games I played on the PC was HoMM III, even if I didn't know a thing about the game I was amazed. That was a long time ago but my passion for HoMM III never faded away.
Lately I've been playing a lot of HoMM V ToE and some HoMM III and WoG with friends in hotseat. I found this site by pure luck and I'm amazed by the amount of information and the strength of this community.
A quick question though, do can I play ToH (tournament of honor matches) via hamachi and not via the ubi network or whatever it's called?

Heya everyone! New to the forum, but thought I'd give a big ol' HIYA to my fellow gamers out there, and I hope all your lives are more exciting than the average coma! ;o) Have a question though. I'm stuck on Zehir's Mission 2: Tearing the Veil. I've completed ALL quests, ( Zehir has Tear of Asha, move city, find priests, yada yada) and fully dominated the 1st half, but when I go to the ritual site, I get this message: " You are an awesome dude, blah blah, now let's perform the rite!" Then NOTHING happens. Nada. Zip. Am I doing something wrong, or simply NOT doing something? I will give my firstborn to anybody who helps me with this, thanks!  D

Hey there, ToTheSix, Woodfang, and blizz.
Markkur here. New here also.
I've been fairly active in a short time but I am not one to ask general Questions about HC. (Heroes Community)
Just thought I would share this little bit from my endless days of dedicated service
Be patient in starting out. At first I wondered if the site was alive at all but quickly I discovered 'The Moderators' are active and they are very helpful. I imagine H6 is dialing things up a notch.
As for me?
I saw in another post that 'Noob' (new at HC)could be regarded by some as some sort of a slam but I've not cared about it and even used it myself about myself to quickly gain help
I'm not new to HoMM, I began with H2 like many here. Still enjoy greatly H3. Did not play H4, was steered away by my Son. Enjoy H5 and mainly the map-making aspect. So I joined to do my part in making the Map-Editor better in H6 however small the role.
You may already be whiz-bangs with Map-making i.e. scripting etc. but if not; <imo> you have found a wealth of information in learning and some fine help.

Hi all! I've been skulking in the shadows for... not too long, admittedly, but HC just seems too fun to stay there anymore!
I've been a fan of HOMM for most of my life, and it's been my favorite game ever since i first played it.
It was actually kind of strange, i found this site one day(searching for any news about H6 even being in the making), and of course loved it immediately. Then the next time i checked in, Heroes 6 had been announced! Is that a sign from Asha to join or what?

Welcome from Markkur. I agree with you that this is an awesome site and it IS good to come out of the shadows. I really regret now , not finding HC a long time ago. There is soooo much here with the fans and the knowledge nearby. I've not been here long but it already strikes me as 'The Place' for anything HoMM.
