About the LvL 8, it's probably going to be Rock Giant -> Amethyst Giant. Although the team hasn't decided yet.

Spider Princess, Spider queen - excellent work.
Wild Druid, Talon Druid - i was seen something like this in Heroes of might and magic 2. It is a  Dwarf

Must the grove replace fortress?

Isn't there some way to just add the town, i mean what is wrong with fortress, why does it have to be replaced?

New towns can't be added yet so at the moment the only possible way is to replace a town. Maybe it will be possible to add new towns in 3.59 (or at least one new town) but Slava doesn't know for sure yet and he's still busy with his other project right now.

The graphics and creatures and scripts etc. have all been created to replace Fortress so in order to switch it to another town like Stronghold, it would require tons more work by everyone so I don't think it's too likely.

If completely new towns can be added in 3.59, then it should be possible to add it without replacing anything but for any sort of "beta" (pre-3.59) release, it will only replace Fortress.

If you play Grove, you play Grove not Fortress, Stronghold or anything... What's the problem?

I think he's trying to say that he likes the fortress castle and wouldn't want to replace it even temporarily. So he is going to wait and see if new towns can actually be added in 3.59

No, this is a real picture removed from my game. All the graphics are removed from the game.I worked a lot of hours to do this new graph.  And The Grove Town will replace the Fortress Town. So, you are saying that Slava will indeed include this new town in prior to K1ng's already achieved work onto it. Right?

Did you notice that K1ng has already hard-coded the image changes of two different army units in the unit availability/dwellings of the current, fully built town of Grove town? Hope the team get to do more of it through the unit selection screen also.

Your last images of that new featured town is quite old and out of date already. Just wanted to note it out in order to clarify the whole status of this topic's latest developments, that's all.

It does not have to. Just use the Options menu to cancel the overlapping of the many scripts and .img pictoral files used to overlap the original hard-coded pics of that specific town.

What I am saying is: Go to the Options menu and unselect the Grove town over Fortress and, save your current wished/wanted options for this W.o.G. Add-on mod. Later on, you might change your mind and reselect it for play as of right now(future tense of course).

Or, if you do not wish/want to do so, you can always pop in the R.o.E play disk in for an original campaign/regular HoMM3 ver.1.4 scenario or, the A.B. play disk in for campaign/regular HoMM3 ver.2.0+ scenario and RMG madeup/non scripted scenario/world map.

How do I know all of this? I just do so when I feel I could go back and just play a normal HoMM3 with a random map generator that do screw up a small map editing.

I saw some posts in this thread about monster making for Grove...

If you make Grove in Warcraft 3 style, why then not to take monsters from there as well?

Nope, this isn't yet possible. You'll have to backup LOD files and swich between old LODs and Grove's ones, and most probably select/unselect Grove in WoG options in addition.
