Where is the bloody patch!
trying to download version file from http://patches.ubi.com/all_products_cab_files/heroes_might_magic_5.cab to C:\DOCUME~1\Niagaran\LOCALS~1\Temp\ubi8.tmp.
Succesfully downloaded version file.
No update was found for current targets
I want my multiplayer game to work like one and I am getting restless...I am regretting buying 2 versions of this so my son and I can have accounts on a broken game

I got my patch from ToH's main page, it worked fine...

Hey,
- First of all you need to get your heroes 5 from 1.0 to 1.1 ! there are several links on the ToH community to help you :
- 1.0 to 1.1 news
- There are also information on why and why not the MP are not implemented yet. but it will ( hopefully ) be out this week 
- for pure tech help you could swing by this one :

I grow impatient I am sorry for venting it is just not what I had hoped for in multiplayer...the game is wonderful but want to get my TOH season going!

even though we all wait for the 1.2 multi patch, somehow I'm not sure if it will solve 'all' the multi issues we have been talking about.

Maybe, but all I need right now is the synchro bug to dissapear. The rest, compared to this mega-bug, is a mere nuissance.
It's kind of frustrating that now, when I have lots of spare time, the game is unplayable, while patch is gonna come out later, when I won't have time.
Ok but seriously, Ubi, Nival... It's the end of June.
Where is patch 1.2 for crying out loud?!

dunno if this is anything but in room5 I saw a game named Nivaltest and it's version number was 0.0

Yeah I've been trying to wait patiently. I was really hoping they'd get something out by today since I'm off work for 5 days starting tomorrow. I'm ever so glad I worked so hard on release day to get this... does anyone smell sarcasm in the air?

My traffic losses (Not used trafic) for May was 900mb, for June was 350mb (Take lesser volume for month).

LAN works fine...what gives?
I am currently playing ANZAC on our LAN and there seems to be no issues and we are into month 2 and can see each other. Perhaps that points to it being a server issue rather than an ingame problem.
Other than one of the computers running the game at low end it all seems fine with creature events and thieves guilds etc...
time will tell...
btw... ANZAC (my son) started playing Heroes at the age of 4 and completed his 1st online game of H2 at 5 against DuncanIdaho's nephew . His only problem was lack of sustained concentration and would start brilliantly for the first 2 weeks and slowly lose direction from that point. This is no longer the case and we have been playing Heroes together (yes even H4) for more than a decade and we have had many epic campaigns through the years.
Once the game is patched watch out for him in TOH as at 15 he beats me more often than not and will give you a worthy opponent...
*sigh* were is the patch already!

Maybe you got lucky, beacuse in my LAN games I experienced the same bugs as on UBI server.
And besides...
Where's the bloody patch?!

Ok..forgrt what I said about LAN working ok...
After 2 crashes one for each of us itdoes not work(LAN)...hotseat works! One disturbing crash was my video card overheating
