The disturbingly sensitive balance in HC :/
Am I the only one who feels emptyness and dullness when one or a number of my favourite members here in Heroes Community for some unknown reason suddenly stop posting even if it is just for a couple of days...?
We all know that our ball shaving muai thai kickboxer Russ has like a rule not to post here during the weekend (maybe it's his shaving time  ) But during those two long days, I always find myself missing that black eyed yellow faced avatar making killing one line replies in almost every "interesting" topic on the board.
One day a truely great newcomer with a huge potential in him by the name of OkieSolidarity came to HC and quickly managed to capture our hearts with his stinging humour and fresh ideas, lightening the tavern and the wastelands while contributing a lot to the heroes 5 discussions too. We all enjoyed his posting here and while we were begining to take him for granted he just dissapeared, vanished, thrown a Bort. Was the main reason for this FoG asking him to party "hard" during his visit to eh Sirecquse or something like that which freaked Okie out and made him run for his life! Okie don't you like hairy nipples!? 
I waited and waited and waited to see his nickname in todays posts but he only jumped once to congratulate Legendmaker with his upcoming 29 birthday and vanished again. How inconsiderate can you be? Just as I was getting somewhere with his left hand and she was starting to like me enough to talk about sex at last he just leaves me hanging handless... 
This brings me to my next subject... LegendMaker aka the Legendary Skell aka Legendary Foo aka Froglegs aka Leggie... He is nowhere to be seen, neither at HC nor on MSN his favourite place to hang out :/. The big problem that he did not say even one stinking word to any of us  his virtual buddies, I know the french are rude but that is just sick even for them, there is no way for us to know were he is and if he is even beathing  . This causes major inconvinience to yours trully, a break of my daily schedule of chating to him and reading his intriguing *cough*crappy*cough* posts.
We also take Aculias for granted, sure he is a freak and a normal member is able to understand only 20% of his posts but what would happen if he decides to leave too? I cannot even force myself to think about that! No more bathing and scrubbing his back in his tub!? No more playing with Ken dolls while Dragon_Slayer is taking pictures!? The world will not be the same without Pecu here. I fall to the floor laughing my *** off every single time I read one of his poem/songs he writes, they do not make any sense but that is his signature and what makes them so darn funny. 
And today with Iris leaving to china and the big IF question... If she continues to post here while in china we don't know, but maybe even when she does return from there maybe she will have other ideas about what to do with her free time and forget all about us... It is hard to get used to a person and then to see him gone leaving a big empty black hole in his/her place... Especialy if that person is also female, good looking  , can shoot griffens with her bow and likes playing games like FF and HOMM, those are rare...
The same thing can be said about DS, Vlaad, FoG, Kooka, Guitarguy... Even if William and Trogdor suddenly decide to get married and start their happy lives together we would still miss them in our hearts, I know I will eventhough I barely can stand them now they are an important part of HC's member balance which is too delicate and could easily crumble...
I did not mention any mods here because while some of them are active the most of them are not and that is a shame, they are all great members but either they are not interested in what is going on here or they do have a busy 24/7 schedule that they cannot even spend 10 minutes a day here just to say "Hi, I'm still here" or to toss someone just for fun...
Where is Valeriy by the way?

Leggie needs to get his ass on here and post something RIGHT NOW.
How can someone leave without at least one goodbye thread, and then 3 goodbye spam threads as a guard of honour? It is not right
It does make you {me} worry though when people drop out like that. I am worried about you too TNT - if you get recruited will you have the time to drop in and let us know you are off? The day you return would definately be one of celebration

Do not worry your pretty blonde head there Kookie, I am not like those busy snobs mentioned above, I will definately throw something here if I am to leave for an unknown period of time so my friends here won't worry about me like I worry for Leggie the "weed leprechaun" now...
I also know that the old folks here miss their old pals from back in the days but only now I got the idea of how they really feel inside :/ and this is not cool. I know Woock misses that Daddy fellow and that a lot of people here miss this Asmodean guy who seemed like a "shiny happy" person ... It was also fun having Lith around for like 3 weeks, but what's up with comming here posting a LOT and then dissapearing again?
I hope that the good thing we had going on here isn't going to end soon...

Indeed . . .
You know who I miss? I miss reading Wub(so refreshingly calculating and open to debate--I learned so much from his posts), Sir_Elric(this guy was really good at making pixel art and in turn created some good avatars for the community), and the early days of The_Gootch(back when he was more interested in writing fantasy fiction of the medieval sort--perhaps in competition with Cat).
Balance is indeed an important thing to have.

Sniff Sniff, very true. This thread was from the heart wasn't it TNT? But yeah, I get where you're coming from. Makes me wonder if that isn't something that should be added to my will. I'm sure it would sound lame to others that I would be so concerned with members of a website but I've been here too long to just die and leave everyone wondering...unless you guys wouldn't even miss me

Talking about people who were better in the past then now in certain catagories.

TNT. Stop acting emo . HC is much better now than it was, say, a year ago. Of course, before that, it was better, better than it is now, even, but this isn't the worst that HC has been. Many once-great HC members are nowhere to be seen. Daddy, Jebus, Dingo... the list could go on for much longer. However, we have many great members here now. The majority of them posted in this thread. I think that if these members started leaving or becoming inactive (as long as they didn't do it all at once), new members would spring up to take their place (and I don't mean "new" members like IRISCANNOTPOST and ACUCANNONTSPELL). HC will go on for a long time yet.
That may have sounded like I missed the point, but I didn't.

Yes you are right MVass, we do have EldGiffen with us now and it is all GOOD!
I would trade LegendMaker for EldGiffen anytime, I was not really worried about him I was just eh... Trying to toss him and he was nowhere to be found so I got sad because of that, no biggie... Real men like me do not worry about anything, so yeah!

Not to give anyones hopes up even though I doubt iris would do it.
I seen many good members leave for like a month or longer & then all of a sudden they just dont have time to go on here anymore.
Remember I was gone for awhile also until like Feb or March lol.
We got to remember people do come & go on here & some just leave without us even knowing until we never see a post.
I seen so many greats just vanish.
I seen some say they will be back in a few weeks but never come back lol.
It happens.
Fortunately you have not seen those leave yet TNTINA.
You will
Some just get bored also.
SOme occasionally come back but for only one day.
