Hey guys. After long hours of sifting through the last 4 pages and all your brilliant suggestions this is the Tech Tree I came up with inclusive of all the new name changes to the creatures and what not. Anyone have any comments?

Gorgo Spire (lvl 9 misc building)

When this town is under siege, the fastest attacker stack will be Blinded in the beginning of the combat for infinite time. undead and nonliving cant be targeted.
in h3 swamp was a VERY defensive town and i liked the difference from others. but Glyph of Fear is too booooooooring, just increasing the primary stats. THIS building is much more tactically interesting. so. this is an edited repost but its short and IMO better than glyph of fear. if the attacker has Cleansing(light magic) and uses it, he will waste a round of spelling so it still affects the battle. now its NOT overpowered if the building gets a high cost. but im not an expert on this, so i wont name the price myself.

Vhilhu I like your idea. I just have one question. What is a Gorgo?
Addendum: I've added the changes to the above tech tree. Here's a secondary ability for the sorceress.
Serpent Swiftness:
Activated Ability. When the Sorceress uses this ability, all friendly creatures under the effects of any hydromancy spell gain a 33% boost in iniative for that turn.

Oh ye Sinister Blistery one!
Look at the Moon Weeks, there you see that during the Week of Wyrm "the weekly Wyrm production used to double, before they were totally exterminated".
PLEASE don't call the Archon upgrade for Queen! Alternatives: High Archon, Supreme Archon, Arch-archon 
Or maybe call them Archon Maiden/Archon Lady?
Am I the only one thinking that anything with "hell" in it sounds rather infernal? Me not like "hellion"!
If we stick to Hydromancy then I think the Water Shield is a bit overpowered. How about 100 HP and absorbtion of 50% of physical damage, 75% of damage from spells?
The Quicksand ability I talked about in an earlier post could be a Hydromancy ability as well, but always only giving one square of quicksand randomly in a 3x3 area.

Something else, we have male heroes too, right?
Well then Sorceress is a wrong hero name, as it refers only to female spellcasters. How about Enchanter? I guess that's sort of unisex

i agree that sorceress is a bad name. even as it has a history in homm, all-feminine heroes are monotonous and ubival might get sued for not being equal. Mcdonalds did get sued and Mcdonalds LOST the case when someone complained noone told him burgers make you fat

Indeed, it is. I'm glad to see the town is nearly complete, but I will again make my suggestion: Templars/Preatorians and Zelots should spellcast, since nagas are connected with sorcery very strongly.
P.S. SBlister, it's 'Zelot Viper' and 'Zelot Cobra', not the other way around.

If you look at the list of creatures for the Renegade Faction you will see that their level 5 creature is indeed named ZEALOT. Which now forces us to change the name of our level 3 creature. I have a number of suggestions: Acolyte, Disciple, Savant. As for the Archon, I would suggest Heirophant-Archon or Scion-Archon.

It's written Hierophant, I think. At least that's how it's written in WoG. But Scion-Archon would fit better in my opinion.

AND WHY DO YOU WANT ARCHON AS A NAGA? wide most people already know archon as either gnostic demon or that blue starcraft fella. but hierophant is a nice name.
so imo: haruspex -> hierophant
haruspex was etruscan diviner in case some of you dont know.

First off Archon means ruler. Plain and simple. And a very fitting title. Who cares what wikipedia says about Scion. Scion has been used in so many videogames as names of powerful units. We don't need more spellcasters. It's not written anywhere that nagas are good spellcasters. I would go with the following:
1. Serpentfly - Coatl
2. Lizardkin Tracker - Chameleon Tracker
3. Viper Sentinel - Cobra Sentinel (Alt. Viper Acolyte - Cobra Scion)
4. Swampguard - Swampwarden (Alt. Sentinel - Master Sentinel)
5. Templar - Praetorian
6. Archon - Grand Archon
7. Leviathan - Ancient Leviathan

WHERE is scion a unit? i dont know a single such game. name some.
EDIT: is there also somewhere described archon properties? if yes then on what page? templar/archon look very similar this far...
