You didnt specify facts. You make unproven statements that you cant back up.
But remind me, where was your name brought up in this conversatio? I dont remember talking to you so why do you need to jump in and point the finger at me too? Im pretty sure your mate can look after himself without the help of an illiterate. Aculias is my "mate" but he doesnt need to jump in and start bagging you to help me out.
Oh, not that you need to no, but just to clarify anyway. I chose to step down due to school commitments. You know, some of us want an education.

First thing is thanks William, you really have been making an effort and we see it and appreciate it. Good job! 
Now for the rest of this...
It's always going to happen. A very wise ray of sunshine once told me not to let it bother me, and I've got to listen to him now. I'd advise that the rest of you getting upset here do the same.
There are always going to be people who start this stuff. It won't change, I've had nasty messages from people about QP's Leo got, Qp's Consis got, QP's TNT got... etc etc it goes on and on and on. For every 5 QP's I gave, at least one of them got me an angry message from someone who hates that I gave it.
It's amusing too, that I was accused of favouring Consis during a time when Consis and I weren't exactly breaking bread and having lovely chats about the weather... and then accused of favouring TNT...now it's DS I guess, and tommorrow it'll be someone else and then someone after that...
I don't favour anyone. If anyone thinks that, there's nothing I can do to change their mind - so I have no interest in trying anymore. My choice is to either let it continue to upset me and keep me away from HC 'til I finally quit, or just start mass deleting those messages. Looks like its time for a *big boom*.
Probably the simplest thing to do is stop giving out QP's. Then the people who care about the community will have a chance to rise above the negativity that's been choking this place.
Also, for the record - Dragon_Slayer was not Soccerfeva.
Final thought: I'm not going to lock this thing and stop people from talking - if it helps for these people to get it off their chest, then so be it. I will issue a mass warning, anyone making direct insults or trying to spread lies about other members will be penalized. This also includes bashing the spelling and grammar of our non English speaking members.

Although that was a rhetorical question, I'll answer it. Yes, I knew that. I guess it was that those-of-us-who-were-around attitude that I didn't like.

Did you mean that in general... or your posts only? During these three years we have talked three times; before this thread, we had a chat about Tavern via HCM and once I suggested you quote the source when pasting stuff. I want you to know that I would have written the latter no matter who it was. I thought it was no big deal, so I put a smiley at the end of each post.

Nah, I won't go there. Like Terje once wrote, QPs are what mods say. Discussing it any further would be opening Pandora's Box (pun intended  ).

Well I was on the bus this morning thinking "when people get 3 qps, and then they suddnely stop making good posts, and make spam posts, what would happen?"
I wont do that ofcourse, but if you are so eager to get off the 20 posts in 24 hours limit, and when you finally get off it, you stop making the positive posts, and you make more "spam" related posts than good ones.
I would lose my respect for that member a little bit, because I would see that all he wants is what is best for them, not thinking about other people.
That selfish and mean in my opinion, and I thought I should say this, because when you become a Promising status, that is a sign of the good work/posts you have done.
You should respect that and not abuse it, the moderators have obviously given you the qps because they think you have been making really good posts that contribute to the community, and then when you suddenly get the 3 qps, and suddenly stop making the good posts, you are not only letting everyone else down, but you are also letting yourself down.
I just hope this makes sense, because I would not want to see this happen with any good posters that visit here, and suddenly do something like that.
Getting the 3 qps and over is a privelage, and obviously the moderators trust you and think you are a good poster, so do not let them down and do not let yourself down.
I know that some of that may not actually be related to this particular topic, but I just wanted to let out my opinions about this particular matter.

People always want more qps, especially since you get other stuff like being able to rate threads
And I guess if you start spamming and show that you don't deserve your rank then they can take it away pretty easily.

If you are a spammer and you get qps and stuff, then it is pretty liekly that you will get one taken away.
Look, spamming is alright in the VW where it belongs, where it eventually will get deleted (the thread and therefore the post I mean) and that's perfectly ok.
But I do not think the moderators would give out qps to people that they cannot trust, especially if they get Promising status/rank, which gives you the ability to make more than 20 posts in 24 hours, which is very good in my opinion, and to get that, you need to be trusted, because whats the point of rewarding a person that you cannot trust?
The trouble with modding and giving out qps is this:
If you give out a particular qp to someone, there will always be someone who may disagree with it, no matter what and send you angry messages.
Now, as being a Mod, it is you're decision, and you're decision alone that you choose to give a particular member a qp.
If someone disagrees and sends you angry messages, stuff em.
You are the mod who gives out the qps, so that person has either gotta deal with it, or leave.
That wasnt directed at anyone, but was an example purely.
There will always be someone who disagrees with something, but you gotta deal with it, and disagreeing against someone else earning a qp for a particular post, whether it be good or bad is really none of you're bussiness.
Instead of arguing or whatever, how about YOU as a poster make some postivie feedback like "hey good work with the recent qp" or "wow that was an awesome post, give him a qp" or something like that.
Instead of posting something negative, and making people annoyed at you, you could always post something positive and congratulate the poster, instead of arguing about the qp he/she got.
It is pointless and a waste of energy.
Who cares about the qps that other people earn, you could be making good posts perhaps a qp worthy one, but all you do is disagree with the giving out of a qp to someones post.
It does not really affect the member who got the qp, but it affects you more, you are creating pointless anger and frustration and confusion, which really isnt needed.
That too was an example aswell, just letting people know if you ever do this.
Getting a qp is an honour, well not really an honour, but a notification of sorts that you have made a quality, good post.
The disagreeing of ones such post is childish.
I do not know where Metos is at the moment, but he should read some of the information that was posted here, he may learn a thing or two aout red stars.
But anyway back on topic.
I saw that Pandora issued a Mass Warning or something because some people were spreading false rumours, and teasing other people's spelling.
Now that is just low, false rumours is for little 5 year old children, lol seriously come on, who the hell does that kind of stuff.
Secondly, the teasing of someone's spelling because they are not a native english speaker is also wrong.
The particular person cannot help if they have poor spelling, because it is obvious that they are not an english speaking person, so it is rather hard.
We English speakers take speaking English for granted, but it seems that when someone with poor spelling comes along, we bag them out for it, but what we do not realise is that they cannot help it.
They had a hard time trying to learn English, and all they get from some people is teasing.
We do not realise how lucky we are at times, so we should atleast cut down on the teasing of non-english speakers, and spreading false rumours, now if you are gonna do that then go back to preschool, childish and immature behaviour in my honest opinion.
I think I have said all of what I have wanted/needed to say, but I hope you can understand the message that I am trying to get across here.
