All right i will say it TNT, it's nothing about true colors but I guess I was disapointed.
You got alot of talent for this place & when i seen you quit on a thread & wanted to leave a few times & mainly been getting down on yourself. It made me feel bad because of the talent you have, I know you can always dust yourself off & try again & harder.
Thats what makes people grow stronger & better.
I hated the change you made because it seemed like it was for the worst.
I mean for yourself & not in HC.
I am open minded & I usually speak my mind, sometimes it may be harsh but I will try to speak the truth.
I guess I wanted you to be alot more happier on here without any negative feelings about the place.
That in honesty is why I came on you a little.
If anythang on my opinion but it seems you also need to find a happy place.
I dont mean with the women on here 
I mean within yourself,People go through rough times but it usually makes us stronger.

I wonder when the time will come, everybody will look on HIS/HER contribution to the community and answer himself/herself why there was NO or only FEW rewards given to them. It is some kind of sport since I am present on this board (and for sure even longer), to be "jealous" about other member's quality points.
Sure there was and will always be some kind of "qp hunting". But what is so bad about that? Most of time, people argue and doubt the value of those posts/threads, because THEY didn't have the idea first. Good example was the "QP hunting" from TnT refering to all these "Table of Contest" threads. They all have been a great tribute to the community. Helped many new members a lot to find a way through all the threads in a specific forum. Every member here on board would have had the chance to create such threads. And who did?
Besides many spam, TnT brought up great ideas / threads which made many members laugh, including us mods/admins. Only to have ONE example, look at this thread. It only has a few replies, it's only 1 page long. But the idea was cool, funny and refreshing. Anyone could have come up with that idea, especially all these ICTC addicts. But it was him.
Aculias, u got your latest +qp for a more serious topic, refering to the mexicans in your country. Very interesting stuff, but totally different from most of TnT's posts and ideas. And completely different from MY posts where I recieved a reward at the time when I was a "normal" member also. But none of those posts from u, TnT or me has recieved a +qp undeserved!
You like to speak your mind, you like to toss, u like to talk about serious topics. Others have great creativity (like kooka or FoG), great sense of humor (TnT, Russ, TA....), great knowledge about H3 (Xarfax, maretti, Ecoris, dimis,...). So everyone has the chance to add something to this community by using HIS/HER strength.
No member will recieve +qp in every subforum we have. I doubt u (Acu) will recieve a +qp in the WoG section, or Iris in the MapHaven. So what? Accept that everyone has his/her strength and will recieve rewards if his/her contributions will be good for the community...not for ALL...but for a specific part.
And one more word about favoritism.
As far as I understand the meaning of that word, it means, mods would apply +qp to members because they like them, not because of the post they made. That would mean, if the same post would have been made by a different member, the +qp would NOT have been applied.
Please, give me ONE example for that....only ONE. If u find one, I will immediately reward a post of you in the library which only contents the word "thang".

This is about my 5th attempt to reply - we'll see if I can do it this time..its hard right now 'cuz I have to remember the modhat...
Actually, you know what - forget the modhat right now - I'm not going to post the modly thing or try to represent the whole of the modsquad - I'm just going to say what I think.
The first thing I think, is that every time I hear about "favouritism" I want to walk away. This above anything else makes me really wonder why I bother doing this anymore. Its just assumed that if we give a QP we love the poster, we agree with the post and who knows maybe you think we're cyber shagging out back... but its so wrong! I am not going to say who or when - but I will say I have definitely given QP to people that aren't on my list of those I'd like to meet one day. I'll also tell you that a lot of the people who are my "favorites" haven't gotten QP from me. They don't need to - they, like me, have been coming here for years and post because they love the place, they enjoy it - and that's it. There are a lot of people here that I like very much, but I haven't given them QPs. Why is that? Because giving QP's to people just because we like them is not something we're supposed to do.
Part of being a mod sometimes means that we have to drop 'who we are' to be "the moderator". It means we have to give penalties when really - our eyes didn't bleed when you missed an asterisk. Its a very simple thing - we agreed that we knew the forum rules, and we would uphold them.
There are a bunch of people that think that being "the moderator" means that we have a set list to follow for every situation exactly as it might occur; but it's not like that. We have to use our judgement - and sometime that judgement may be flawed yes, I admitted it, we aren't perfect - we're just people, like you guys. I would love it if we could steal Gootch's QP formula - and make it our day to day rule, I mean why not? At least that way it's right there in writing for all to see.
And I'm sure I'm probably over reacting, but I am honestly just sick of seeing this over and over. Its always the same.
Maybe if some of you just forgot about the stars for a while, and focused your energy on having fun , you'd get so caught up in the good times that being angry over a little  would seem kinda silly to you.

At the risk of sounding obvious Pan, it will always come up. It is the nature of the beast to notice inequality and opine about it. And as long as new bodies come to HC they will ask the same questions and inadvertantly end up stoking the lingering flames of resentment here.
You are the coolest and if you ever step down because of burnout I'm going straight to the I hate you thread and tacking your name down.

I think you will find that alot more issues will be solved if you contemplate you and your self somewhere where you can be alone or engage in conversation with someone who has willingly agreed to solve your issue with you.
If you spam/threadjack/coerce others to listen to you express your feelings about your issues, you're not really solving anything, but rather creating yet another issue.
Now, I don't have anything against a good spamming, in fact, I consider it better than a standard pro-status quo elongation and repetition of dominant modes of conversation. - As long as it's an expression of internal happyness.

*rolls eyes* Gootch that was sooooo obvious. Actually, just yesterday I was speaking with someone on HCM about the cycles this place has and how it almost feels like we could have ready made responses to copy/paste when the issues pop up.
I wouldn't quit. I made it through the "Big Ban Fiasco" and I watched as so many greats walked away...(btw - did I ever tell you I'm glad you weren't one of them?) I can sure stand to weather a few hundred more of these oh so enlightening QP discussions.
I just get frustrated by it sometimes, or maybe my brain is just still muddled by images of you in the shower

All spam and silliness aside, I do think that these horrificly frustrating regurgitations are probably helpful from time to time, it lets us know where things could be improved and what people are thinking.
I stand by what I said earlier in response to Metos' post- thats how I figure you get QP's.
As for favorites - my personal favorites are the people who keep coming back, and that make other people want to come back too.
The people I don't like are the ones that make people not want to come back.
Sorry for getting frustrated, its just that sometimes I wish Aculias was right here so I could grab him and shake him - since I can't I have to vent otherwise
But we've been friends forever, so we talk it through - and it's all good.
Everyone go back to having fun, and keep the spamming in the wastelands
