evil halflings!!
i like that idea alot.
i have often thought that halflings were evil, in the back of my mind. a game, i helped design, had halflings as brutal as possible, flaying skin of live prisoners then making them mine salt, that sought of thing.

does anyone else feel that the level 5 spell casters are radically unbalanced? Also, if these halflings live underground, why do they know the "word of liight" spell?
Don't get me wrong, It's a good idea. It could use some fleshing out though, and some work on names.

you remember my halfling mini town, ted?
thats how i imagined the halflings in heroes 5. somewhat stereotypical, farmers, etc. but foulmouthed and extremely protective of their land. also, slightly welsh in their outlook and accent.

It's a great idea!
And you executed it very well.
I like the motto, the symbols, the basic idea and the creatures (just one thing about them-in the counineus).
I think that they should be good, but that's just my opinion.
It your decision is the end.
And about the creatures' names:
Names like: Farmer, Trader, Collonel, etc sound very much like Haven simple stroops.
And Farmer is like a Peasant.
I think you should rename them.
But it's great thing you did here.
Carry on with the great work.
By the way: I will create soon a new faction that includes Halflings.
Inspired by the Wizard's town in H2.
