Vampires have Life Drain. Life Drain is not overpowered, it should just be ballanced by a reasonable Damage range - that's not too difficult to do. A better example would be the Death Strike of the Death Knights which is completely out of order - but then, I think that feature shouldn't be in the game at all.

But yes, I know it's a huge work to develop a faction - but hey, that's what I pay for when buying the game, and yes, I'd rather see a few new factions than a lot of new neutrals - because the factions add so much to the gameplay because they include not only the creatures, but also the classes, heroes, buildings and skills, like you say.

If we get Pegasus back it really has to be a really though one!! The one in HoMM3 were so weak in def that they were almost useless... so sad...

And please i don't want those >All Mighty< Dragons, they were so overpowered and i didn't really enjoy them... And because we already have tons of dragons! we don't need more...

And if we will not get the naga town, i think we should get a lvl 6 naga creature that would be a killing machine...

Though a mighty creature is missing, The one creature that really hate the genie, a creature born of fire: Efreet. I wan't that burning soul destroyer

They should put the Dendroids from the beta as neutrals. And with a new texture for the beta phoenix, we'd have a thunderbird!

I'd like a nice behemoth in the expansion as part of a faction.  Unfortunately, the fire dragon serves it's  purpose.

Perhaps we will se the behemoths as part of the next expansion, if not the Pao Kai (Wyvern) from Dark Messiah replaces it.

I really liked the Gargantuan from HoMM4. Talk about crazy insane power. Two shot...and with the Snipers Crossbow (Unicorn? Bow in HoMM5) They were unstoppable.

I would love not to have those overpowered creatures back... they ruin the game for my point of view... Just think about the campaign in HoMM expansion where you must clear a entire map from azure dragons, talking about having no fun?

I would like just one more good faction. Something original like old fortress or stronghold, 3 behemoths on second week . Fotress creatures with very strong abilities. I miss heroes with armourer and offence.
o my god, heroes 5 is really good game, thx for that. I am starting to be crazy about old h3.

But what i want most, to be this game more and more strategic, to not fall into routine, like in h3, if it is possible. I dont want to one owning strategy like mmr.

Seriously, I'd like to see a stronger, "prettier" beholder with different power effects for each eye stalk.

I kinda liked the behemoth too and wouldn't mind seeing the wolf again.

Yep. those level 10 dragons are amazing. I want to see them again.
Besides that, how can H5 'discard' the Mighty Gorgon, Efreet Sultan, Wyvern Monarch, and Magic Elemental? They have effective and useful abilities!

The other thing is the fact that H5 losing stronghold town. no unit from strongold town appears there. How could it be?

oh- some neutrals, rogues were cool you gotta admit, try gettin a few lvls up on opponent in beginning taking an artifact and like 20 of em take you out cause all you got is a stupid curse spell or stone skin

What I dispised most about HOMM4 was that they tossed the Necropolis and Inferno together, as well as Dungeon and Fortress. Biggest mistakes ever.

I was glad to see they went back to 7 upgradeable levels in HOMM5, 4's system just totally SUCKED.

Still, dungeon got completely crippled, no longer about the monsters they had in HOMM3. Now it's dark elfs and Fortress reptiles, while the great Minotaurs (OVERLORD heroes in HOMM3 !!!) got totally degraded to the level of SLAVES! Total buzz-kill... Still a cool town but.... I don't know, it feels odd.

I still think they should bring back a reptile town, with gorgons, lizardmen, nagas, wyverns, basilisks, etc. I miss those critters. Maybe maybe it a semi-insect town, with driders and huge centipede-riders, that would be awesome.

Ok I'm drifting off topic... neutrals, they should think about large uncontrolable beasts. Stronger dragons again. As well weak Goblins.

Giant scorpions!!!! Oh those I'd love to see.

Cyclops, definately.

The biggest mistake though was the removal of Stronghold. I think the 4 basic towns they started with in HOMM1 should remain, they're the fundaments. Haven, Academy, Dungeon, and STRONGHOLD.

You mean Haven, Sylvan, Dungeon, and STRONGHOLD.
But, yes I think it would be fair, because these were the basic towns each representing a different game strategy.

Orc town is so easy to do, just pick 7 of 8 following creatures:

goblins, wolves/wolfraiders/nomads/whatever, orcs, ogres, trolls, rocs/thunderbirds, cyclopes, behemots

And it's all done, plus some might or growth orientated racial.

Behemoth's ability would seem like a nice racial skill, reducing enemy defence. It adds to the offense strategy Stronghold is known for without overexagerating their attack stats.

genies were good neutral in H2, shoulda kept em as neutral throughout series and shoulda never been able to spawn them in castles anyway.. was stupid
