I have to say it one more time, gargs in a way they appear in h5 simply fit the design. As an animated brainless minion, similar to golems, it would look weird as a regular monster. Honestly.
And I like their looks, although the animation is poor

Stone Gargoyles. They make me sick. Gargoyles from HoMM 3 were much more accurate. Gargoyles in real life are creatures carved from stone- they look more like the HoMM 3 ones, not the H5 ones.
Their attack is also stupid- they whack someone with a tombstone. They can barely do it!

To me the gargoyles look kind of like Vending machines
(Golem comes up puts in quarter presses a symbol and a can of oil comes out)

Oh common those gargoyles are funny. I love they way they hit with their tablets
I like design of all creatures. Academy eastern pattern isn't in my type tho, i liked them better as snowy castle. But the creatures look itself is cool.

I don't find the green that bad. I don't like the liches, actually- everyone else is decent, although they could look a little more intimidating. Gargoyles attack is also stupid. Just

I dislike:
- pink tubes on fire elementals
- djinns without head
- emerald dragons too green
- heavy armour of imperial griffins

look on the bright side, perhaps the next expansion will change the shape of gargole upgrade B to something else that everyone likes
+i dont really mind the shapes of the gargoles, its just a game afterall

Let's write a petition to ubi! Maybe they can change Gargoyle's appearance and make some changes in their history! SDomething like that:
As most of the creatures inhabiting Ashan were laughing of Humpty-Dumpty Gargoyles, Mages decided to change their appearance using ancient magic O_O...

I personally like the gargoyles. They're a bit clumsy, but I prefer them over the HOMM3 version.
I really like all of the designs, except for the manticore. I don't think they put a lot of effort into this one...

I think, they wanted to make Manticore more mutant-look, that's why it has white skin. Or maybe they wanted to make Manticore more goat like?
