Heroes V editor
Hi, i'm new, Sorry for my english... is not very good..
I have found an error in the map editor of Heroes V, in the teams settings.. after i set teams the editor put all players in the team 1..
there is a way for fix that ? thanks.. (p.s. I' using tribes of the east v3.0)

I can't remember for sure but I think there were some fixes for the Editor in (patch 3.1), so I would start with getting it.

Hello everyone (who is still reading this  )! I'm new here - and have a question about the original H5 and HoF maps ... I downloaded them from the link provided on the first page and put them in the map directory - but they don't seem to show up - even when I deactivate multiplayer maps and RMG maps it just seems to show the Tribes of the East maps.
I'm sorry if this question has already come up a few hundred times - but I've unsuccesfully tried to google it - and this thread here is ... well ... not exactly easy to search through. 
Any idea what I might have done wrong?

I've not played one of those for a long time but I'll do a test and see what happens.
Tested: I chose a SP Maahir's Gambit and a HoF title Former Friends and both were there. You are selecting "custom" correct? Any map you put into the Maps folder should show as long as all ticks are checked, either in SP or MP windows.

Yes ... I'm trying to start a custom game - and have chosen RMG + Multiplayer maps - as well as only one of each ... and I've even tried to search for the maps without any box checked. So far I've been unable to find them. I have the nagging suspicion that it may have to do with the number of downloaded maps in the directory. Maybe I should try to delete all of them and see if they somehow mysteriously hid the old single player scenarios (or if I just couldn't find them among the long list of scenarios ... I tried sorting through names and sizes several times - I'm pretty sure that the old maps aren't listed). Sadly the program is way too clever and I'd probably have to thoroughly exterminate every single copy of the downloaded maps before it can't find them anymore. Now if it would just recognise those single player scenarios, too, we could both be happy!
Anyway - thanks again! If placing the downloaded scenarios regularly in the map folder should have been enough ... at least I know now that I didn't omit some sort of obscure technomagic trick necessary to get the things to work.

Your problem has to be something easy.
Could the maps you have placed have the wrong extension? Here is the a link to the Original game Maps, repackaged as .h5m files

Yes ... that's also my suspicion. There likely is a perfectly simple answer to what I did wrong.
I did use the same download page, though ... I even tried downloading it again.
I picked:
"HoF single player scenarios (11.5Mb - 5 maps) ‹ to be played under ToE"
- the files clearly are h5m files. They just don't show up - in contrast to the regular downloaded maps. I'm using Tribes of the East 3.1 ... but perhaps the problems are somehow connected to the fact, that I also have a temporary secondary Tribes of the East installation for multiplayer games. I think you will find that the exe. and two copies will likely hold be the problem. The file structure is too porous and I've found i.e. problems running the editor on the desktop. You do have 2 exe.s correct?
I have a second TotE as well but I have the backup, apart and named under a new main folder on the drive. I only have it for restoration purposes if corruption occurs.

Dark magic. Even if they have shatter dark, Stronghold has little in terms of reliable counters for it.
Also, dark magic is great for eliminating rage. Stronghold units without their damage sponge can fall surprisingly quickly. Attack the rage.
I'm guessing you meant vanquish, but banquish also sounds like something I'd want to try.

Iv'e played a lot of m&m 6 lately and mostly just duels. Just now I began playing m&m 5 and realize that duels doesnt exist in 5?
Is this right? Terrible if so..
