I think I like it as it is. It could become an annoying obstacle and spells are supposed to help you than hinder you

Secrets Of Destruction
Dunno if this has been discussed before. It seems to me that post TOTE Secrets Of Destruction has been changed. Before, I always seemed to get a level 3 spell. Now I've tried three times getting either level 1 (Stone Spikes) or level 2 (Ice Bolt). Apparantly, now you get the lowest spell not in your register. Can anybody confirm or deny this?

No change. I used this in the old one and it was always random from 1 to 3, if anything it's now that you have a better chance for lvl 3 with the inclusion of firewall. I have played many games in TotE and the results are still random but chances get better if you have build mage guild 2 beforehand.

Hi everybody.
I got two questions:
is it possible to get the racial skill to ultimate (ultimate gating, counterstrike, etc.) without the pendant of mastery?
and for question number 2:
can someone give me a god build for deirdre when playing necro?

Ultimate is only accessible through the pendant. About necro try enlightenment, dark, summoning, defense it's good all around. I'm not a necro player but it seems to work nicely for me.

1.i dont think so.
2.generally, enlightment and summom magic work very well with nero all the time.dark magic is good to if you are intend to a long game.sorcery and defence are very importent too..if you have no problem with leving up you can take logistic.
edit: elvin got me...sometime i have to turn to the dictionary for a certain word..

thanks.
I went for the ultimate (dark, summoning and enlight´ment) and for the two in bonus i took sorcery and defense. this was because of your tips and because i am meeting a dungeon team.

I want to ask:
If I play Zoltan and I cast counterspell, if the enemy casts a spell and it's negated by counterspell, can the spell still be blocked?

how to split a stack? like I have 4 demon and i want them split into 2 stacks, and like if its in heroes 4, you have a split stack bottom, but I cant find it in heroes 5

grab them with the mouse button, then hold SHIFT(all the time) and release the mouse button on the creatures slot u want to split them.

multiplayer disconnect
anybody got an idea for this?
When i host or join a lan multiplayer, i get to end one turn and then both players get disconnected. this happens either in HOMM V, HoF or TotE.
we have same patches, other games work great in lan, only HOMM not.
pls give an idea, thanks!

I think I have an idea. You both need to have version 1.0.1.5 (895 KB) of hamachi as the newer versions are bugged. If that does not work I'm at a loss.
